Our stay was very good. Room was fine (shower booth is open style and water tends to spray out of the booth) but everything else was great and the Internet was strong. Best part was staff. Both the night and day front desk staff were friendly and helpful and when my wife was feeling altitude sickness n the morning, she gave oxygen, altitude sickness tablets and a special smelling oil to help. Excellent service!

The Tierra Viva Puno Plaza was an excellent hotel and I would recommend. The staff was so friendly and helpful! We arrived very early and planned to just put our belongings behind the counter while we did a day trip but they let us into our room! Also, they saw it was my birthday on my passport and delivered a surprise cake to our room! It was close to city center and we were able to watch a local festival. I would recommend!

I love this modern, well decorated hotel, very close to the main square and to the pedestrian Jiron Kima, with pkenty of restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, ice cream shps etc. Staff was very professional and friendly, willing to make our stay the best experience. They booked for us the transport to Juliaca airport and carried our suit cases to the minibus. The only limitation is that the hotel street and the adjacent Jiron Lima were pedestrian only. That was not a real inconvenience since tours'operators sent someone to pick us from the hotel and 2 or 3 blocks where the bus or minivan was stationed. And we left for Juliaca airport, the hotel staff carried our suit cases to the minivan that would take us to the airport. Great breakfast buffet, with fruit, scramble eggs, different options to make a sandwich. Granola, yogurts, natural juices. oatmeal etc etc plus coffee, and different teas and infusions. I strongly recommend this hotel that provides excelent service for a budget friendly rate. I found then via Expedia, like all the rest oh hotels in this 3 week trip.

Tierra Viva Puno Plaza is a really nice hotel. Centrally located. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. They gave us options about how to get to the port as well as good dining options. Also, they called our room when our taxi arrived. The room was clean, safe and quiet.

The staff is soooo nice. Very convinient. The room was perfect. Close to everything ! Would highly recommand. They kept our luggage the day of the check out. We decided to chose Tierra Viva in Cusco cause of our great experience in Puno. Thank you so much.
