Everything met expectations. The two downsides were a leaking air unit in the living area and a poor breakfast selection for people with dietary restrictions.

The fact that it had a kitchen in the room and it was very clean. Spacious a lot of friendly staff, that was very helpful. Hot Breakfast in the morning.

Room was clean and comfortable and would have given a higher rating except... My reservation was for 2 nights. Prior to my trip and within the time frame for editing my reservation, I needed to edit it to 1 night only. When I attempted to do so on the Hotels.com website, it would only allow me to re-book the reservation, not edit. Unfortunately it told me there were no rooms available and I could not edit my stay. So I called the Home2 Suites directly and was told since I booked with Hotels.com, I would have to edit it via them. Well, Hotels.com told me to see the hotel clerk and advise them that I had spoken to Hotels.com and since it was a "collect on site" reservation they should be able to change the reservation, Once I arrived at the hotel, I was told again to call Hotels.com, which I did and the cycle continued. It ended up I had to pay for a night I did not stay. Home2 Suites got paid for nothing and I will never use Hotels.com again.

The front desk people were always kind. Breakfast was delicious and the room clean and comfy! This is our go to place when in Beaufort!

Room setup met my families needs with the extra fold out couch. The main issues we had was the exhaust fan was not functional in the bathroom so when you showered it became extremely hot and uncomfortable in the bathroom. There was also some kind of venting right outside our hotel room window. It sounded like airplanes outside your window every 30 minutes. When we checked out I was never asked about how my stay was. That would have involved the clerk taking out his earbuds to communicate with me.

Fraudulently charged my credit card after my stay was complete. When i spoke to manager, she hung up on me. Contacted hilton corporate and received bs email about something that had zero to do with the fact hilton fraudulently charged my credit card $250 without my permission.

Clean facility and friendly staff. Room was comfy and had everything needed.

The reception desk was less than friendly, and while they were undergoing a stressful situation their customer service and friendliness was lacking.
