I am a gold member of Hotels.com & i was not given an upgrade mentioning clearly by the front desk that they dont deel with hotels.com
We asked for late check out & was not provided till we have to reach to hotel management
Room had a insects in my room after the room was cleand
AC stopped working on day 3 all night
Breakfast had limited options for Muslims (mejorty options had pork)! While it says its halal food ingredient at the restaurant reception.

Avani is a beautiful hotel - really clean and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The location is fantastic and the bed is one of the best I’ve slept on. Breakfast is great too. Would definitely recommend this hotel

At check-in they insisted that we had requested twin beds even though my hotels.com reservation clearly stated that we requested a king size. They initially said no king size beds were available at all but eventually found us a room with a king size (upgraded room type).
About the room, lighting controls were confusing, with bathroom light switches by the front door. The bed was one of the best I’ve slept in with really good pillows and bed linen.
Towels were not replaced by housekeeping so we had to call reception, and oddly enough we received some yellow, very thin/flimsy towels that barely did the job (unlike the fluffy towels we had originally).
Service and food quality in SEEN restaurant and pool bar was haphazard at best. Prices are “5 star” but quality certainly didn’t live up to it.

The place is acceptable, their breakfast is good and location could be better but it's acceptable. Their river transport is quite bad. They made us wait for over an hour in at least one of our trips. Their concierge could barely speak English. Bring your own guidebook and you'll be much better served. The reception clerk spent way more time investigating my passport than providing clear instructions re the property. Their pool was unusable. Some good views of the bay but most definitely no information re Bangkok, its attractions, transport and many other areas. Definitely not a 5Star property although the pricing is 5Star for Bangkok. Go somewhere else.

Hotel is old, smell of mold, the bed was very comfortable. Very small bathroom. Electric outlet and switches are far from the bed. To turn off the light you need to walk to the front door, Over priced for the value, located in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by car repair shops and poor neighbourhoods.

Love the hotel..the view from our room was excellent, the staff very helpful and accommodating, breakfast buffet was very good. We arrived late Friday night and we tried their Oceans Eleven. My family enjoyed the seafood feast.

Beautiful, well designed property. Top quality facility and breakfast. Friendly, helpful, attentive, prompt and professional staff in every department. Only real problem is the shower in the room. Irregular shifting of water temperatures from boiling to cold and weak water pressure.

The views are gorgeous, especially at night. This establishment has everything you need with multiple bars, restaurants and stores. The gym is great and the infinity pool is awesome
Perfect temperature and relaxing. Did I mention the views? Yes, the views. Breakfast buffet was very good with many options. The staff was superb. I will be back for sure.

Gorgeous room, clean, and the river view over Bangkok was incredible
Facilities were nice, SEEN views were amazing. Great shops and food inside hotel as well if you’re staying in a night as well
Had the room ready for an unexpected early check in as well
Breakfast buffet was very nice as well
All of the staff there were great, from the front doors to the final exit courteous and knowledgeable staff
