Check in was a bit hit or miss, you had to call a number to get served, not good if your phone was out of battery etc.
The room was decent sized, bed was very comfortable and clean! Bathroom was modern and there was clean towels. There was marks over the wall in the bedroom which could do with a paint over, amd needed more milk but was quiet and comfortable just what you are looking for!
Breakfast was good, what would have made it better was if they replenished the pastries, basically we went at 9 stuff was half done, and not replensished.
The staff arent the nicest, very like right what do you want ok bye. The women qith the blonde hair and blue top at breakfast works hard though.
20min drive to Manchester roughly (5miles), about same to trafford centre, free parking.
Great overall for what wr needed it for.

A wonderful place to stay, clean comfortable and relaxing. Great breakfast and excellent staff who clearly enjoy looking after guests, nothing too much trouble, keep up the good work! We will definitely be back again.

Stayed Saturday night. Approx 20 mins to AO Arena. All the staff are so friendly and very helpful. It felt very homely and comfortable. Such a cheerful atmosphere. The carvery looked amazing. The buffet style breakfast was great with everything you could possibly want. Would definitely go again. Thank you everyone at The Boat and Horses.

Attended a concert at the Coop arena, distance via taxi was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and approachable. The breakfast was excellent with a high selection for veg and non veg. The price of the room for a family of 3 including breakfast was reasonable too.
