It was a good place to stay. Very close to the airport & shopping. Staff was very nice. My only complaint was the TV remote batteries died on us & had to figure out how to manually shut it off. Also the TV reception was a bit weird. We could watch a show but it was cutting out occasionally. Nice remodel too.

Upon arrival greeted professional and explanations of our stay were also expressed professionally. North elevator was broken entire stay. We could tell the hotel hallways were dated and full of odor. Water leaks from AC units through the hallways. Elevator was dated and in need of great repairs. Breakfast was cold and not much of a selection. The breakfast area had a bar area that looked like it had not been used in months. Could be used for other amenities for the guests such as happy hour; just a suggestion. However the waffles were yummy. Front lobby clean, and looked updated. Staff looked clean and treated with kindness. Did not go out of their way to help make stay more enjoyable. Could try updating breakfast with more of a variety and less seasoning on food. Breakfast personnel was very helpful, pleasant, talkative and wore a smile. Greeted the guests with a good morning and light conversation.

I was a little surprised that the property was not very busy for a Friday. It is within a mile of the airport but apparently this is a slow time of year. The staff was uniformly helpful any time we talked to them; and we delt with them several times. The room was well appointed with a full sized refrigerator, two burner stove top, sinks in the lavatory and the studio area, a desk top, a sofa and plenty of outlets. There is not a restaurant on site but the lobby pantry has some variety. I would recommend the property to business travelers and for small conferences. We were there for a family reunion and were pleased with our stay.

Great place to stay. Rooms were great and more up to date than some other hotels around town in Wichita. Staff were pleasant as well. Breakfast was basic but I don't have a huge appetite so that was okay. Hallways could be updated from wear, but it was an overall excellent stay.

The staff was friendly and responsive and the best on my whole trip. The property is old but there are obvious efforts to do the best they can with it. The rooms are clean with no carpeting and look updated. The hallways are interestingly dim and a bit liminal and that was neat. The pool was ice cold but useable and the area was very clean. The road noise is loud but that's not something easily fixed. The area of town is very rundown (not safely walkable) with signs warning to empty your cars so as to not tempt potential theft but once inside it does not feel unsafe. At the price point, it was not awful.

We stayed for a weekend family trip. One of the selling points for me was the pool. Kids love to swim. The photos are really nice, the pool itself and the room look nice but the pool was FREEZING! We had to get my 5 year old out because her lips were turning blue and she was shivering. It wasn't the typical 100 deg summer weather but even with the cool front and it being in the 80s that room should not have been that cold. I couldn't imagine staying in the winter. They have some loungers in the pool area but all the loungers are broken. There are some green chairs that are somewhat comfortable to sit on but if you're wanting to lay back then it's a no go. The room had a musty smell. The room itself was very clean and nice, but the smell was noticeable. I think it is just an old hotel. Beds were firm which I prefer but my husband wasn't a fan of. All staff we encountered were very friendly. Typical continental breakfast. We were really looking forward to swimming more but it was just way to cold to stay for too long. I don't think it was worth the price but it wasn't the worst place we have stayed in Wichita. It's fine for a quick place to stay for the night but I don't think we will go back.
