Nice hotel in the central Kolkata. Area around the hotel is a not great as its part of the old city. Good food and decent service

I would have given 10 stars if it was an option. You get a magnificent view from the Roof Top bar on the 26th floor. They had great food mixed with local and international cuisine. The DJ played awesome music to keep the guests entertained. I would definitely recommend to my friends and I will stay again on my next visit. I stayed there from June 18 thru 23rd 2024. Anil K USA.

This is a very beautiful historical property. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping was on top of making sure the room was clean along with water, tea, and coffee stocked daily. Bicky is amazing at taking care of the room and makes sure everything is perfect when he cleans the room. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again for future visits to Kolkata.

My room was facing raid side and there was music sound coming from some night club on opposite side and was unable to sleep till 4 AM. Had complained. Asked to change room but to no avail

The front desk staff were terrible. Three to four female staff members at the front checkin desk were either clueless or not willing to help. The restaurant staff were very polite and friendly and the room cleaning lady was excellent. She was very friendly and always had a big smile.

Good sized room with a comfortable bed. The gym was well equipped and the steam room was great. Good choices for breakfast, service was a bit slow at certain times.

Rooms were not cleaned on daily basis as per the standards.
Had to call many times for toiletaries and water etc. though we had booked and paid for 3 adults

A very stylish, modern hotel in a very good location. Though noisy early evening, it quieted down around 9pm which ensured a good night’s sleep.
Friendly helpful staff though was a bit hectic checking in as everyone was looking to check in and out at the same time. As this is a luxury hotel I would have expected a cold drink on arrival whilst waiting (developed world problems I know, but this is down as a luxury hotel).
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms were very spacious and beautiful though the safe didn’t work and the bath water was brown. Also I only got one towel. Food in the restaurant was very good.

Being a heritage hotel I liked the style of the rooms and size. Towels were stained and not white as they should be. Breakfast staff not trained to serve tea etc properly and don’t speak English. Front office staff were good and could communicate with international guests. Food selection good. Hotel overpriced for what they offer.

Property is a bit dark even though facilities and amenities are new. We had some minor troubles checking in but they compensated it with a late check out. Breakfast was good.
