Bring the whole family to this rustic mtn house with lots of room for fun only minutes to Loon! Enjoy the sounds of the river from this spacious 4+ BR/3.5 bath house. This house boasts lots of space for the perfect mountain getaway with a large basement/entertaining area with bar, a bonus room that can serve as an extra bedroom/living room plus office and a bright studio apartment with its own entrance, full kitchen and bathroom. The back yard is fenced for large* dogs. 2-car garage.
The property:
Main level: Living room, kitchen, full bathroom, bedroom (2 twin beds), bonus room (which may serve as an additional bedroom [full bed], living room or office), mudroom
Upstairs: Master bedroom (king bed), bedroom (2 full beds), full bathroom
Downstairs: Entertainment area with bar, half bath, washer/dryer
Studio apartment: Queen bed, sleeper sofa (full), full bathroom, kitchen
The house is situated on an expansive lot with great mountain views and sounds of Moosilauke Brook/Lost River across the street.
Guests will have full private access to the entire property including the main house, the studio apartment above the garage, and the entire yard. There is a fenced in back yard space with a gazebo (we say that the back yard is "big dog" fenced, meaning there are some areas smaller dogs would be able to get out). The house is on ~ 15 private acres that are predominantly wooded and situated behind the house backing up to National Forest making this a wonderful mountain getaway. The large private front yard (including the small white "cabin" - inaccessible to guests), has beautiful mountain views and a view of the top of Loon on a clear day, spans to Rt 112 and Mountainside Rd.
Guests have access to covered parking for 2 vehicles during their stay in a detached garage.
Other details to note:
Well-behaved dogs are welcome if added to the reservation during booking for a flat fee of $100/stay. MAX, 2 dogs. Please reach out to us directly prior to booking if you have any questions.
This residence offers a prime location throughout the year!
WINTER ~ A SKIER'S DREAM - approximately 10 minutes to Loon, 20 minutes to Cannon, and 35 mins to Bretton Woods and Waterville. The ICE CASTLES are less than a mile away. Access to SNOW SHOEING from the driveway.
FALL ~ Situated on scenic route 112 you have the perfect access for your Kancamagus Highway scenic drive for leaf peeping!
SUMMER ~ You are in the perfect White Mountain location to enjoy the scenic hiking and rocky rivers NH has to offer. On a cool night, open the windows and enjoy the sounds of the river just across the stress. Just 3 miles to CLARK'S TRADING POST.

The host Deanna was amazing! She was very easy to communicate with. The house was very clean. There was more room than we knew what to do with. The backyard was perfect for getting the kids outside. We enjoyed the firepit and the gazebo. The location of the property was great! Close to lots of family activities. Plus, the view from the new deck was amazing. We loved sitting there in the afternoon and looking at the mountains and bonus of hearing the river across the street.
The house is fully supplied. There is everything from bandaids and shampoo to coffee and flour.
I can't say enough good things about the host and property!
