Personal tlw. recht unfreundlich. Viele kleine Mängel im Zimmer und im ganzen Hotel, z.B. Türen ohne Dichtungen haben beim Schließen laut geknallt. Toilette könnte sauberer sein. Wanne hat einige Schäden. Außenlampe tlw. defekt. Fliegengitter an Küchenfenster mit Klebeband befestigt. Deckenputz hing von der Decke. Verschlissene Teppiche. Tlw. Einfachverglasung der Fenster. Schneeschieber, Besen usw. mit Müllsack lagen im Sichtbereich des Eingangs auf einer Treppe.

Das Hotel liegt an einem wunderschönen Ort. Sehr ruhige Umgebung. Es besteht aus zwei Teilen. Das alte Hauptgebäude und ein später errichtetes Nebengebäude. Das Carl-Bosch-Museum in der Nähe, ebenso die Bushaltestelle. Das Heidelberger Schloss ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Restaurant ´s Kastanie in 10 Minuten. Die Altstadt erreichen Sie zu Fuß in weniger als 30 Minuten.

Hotel, Nebengebäude und Zimmer sind veraltet. Das Badezimmer ist veraltet. Schade, dass es viel besser sein könnte. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Bus stündlich bis 19:00 Uhr fährt.

Fantastic location above Heidelberg. Really nice breakfast. A call after forgotten things were found; it was easy to just drive back and to pick it up. It was great to get the permission for parking the car at the nearby museum.

We were a big group and the alike rooms weren't really alike. Some business rooms had a rather weak WiFi. The superior rooms were great.

My bathroom was so small ... only inches between shower, stool and sink. Was going to take a shower and decided not to for fear I'd trip on something and get hurt. Strange size since the room itself was huge and could have accommodated a bigger bathroom. Also it's very hard to find, especially in the dark ... I wouldn't go back as it's not convenient to things I wanted to see.

The room was quite dusty and especially the floor and windows were moist (we stayed on the -1 floor). Renovation works seem necessary. No option to get here without a car especially when it gets dark. It's a steep climb. But the taxi is easy and affordable.

The hotel is situated in a good location. The room was spacious enough.

The parking facilities is a bit difficult. The rooms are noisy. The was a (locked) door in the room the leads to the next room. That made awkward as you could hear what was happening in the other room. The breakfast was a bit limited.
