Ideal stay, perfectly located in the town centre of Miyajima, which enabled us to experience the peaceful atmosphere in the evening. Mrs Nakaya was the most welcoming host. She made us feel at home, with indoor slippers ready for us when we arrived, and she shared restaurant tips and visit recommendations. The accommodation itself is at the back of her own house and is a two-storey, traditional Japanese house, with a ryokan feel to it. There are two bedrooms with comfortable, Western-style beds downstairs and tatamis rooms upstairs, one a traditional sitting room and one with futon beds. The house holds everything you may need, and Mrs Nakaya is never far should there be anything you need help with. We had a fabulous stay. Thank you, Mrs Nakaya, for your smile and kindness!

The lady was super friendly and welcoming, we felt like at home. Everything was great, the room was big and clean, the bathroom was super clean too and very convenient. It is in the city center, few minutes from the Tori and Shrine, we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very good in the morning too !

Really love this tiny ryokan that is in the middle of the island. The stuff is really friendly and helpful, and it’s like a perfect Japanese style hotel, as said before.

Otherwise, prices are a bit high, but for sure everything it’s expensive on this island.

The fantastic place on this island. Quite close to most attractions and the house is hold by very helpful woman. She provided a lot of useful information to us. Two things I didn't expected were: awesome coffee and a very nice bathroom.
