Good location and Lewes a short walk awsy

Some may find the hill its on a bit daunting. Suggest USB sockets in bedrooms too.

Jo was a great host. Nothing was too much trouble for her. This was a great place to stay with my little boy. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was great. Lewes was a good base and there is a nice park nearby.

Friendly owner. Tried to be helpful.

Breakfast a bit haphazard. Double bed quite small. Room not cleaned for second night.

Nothing to do with Chez Jo specifically but driving /Parking Lewes is tricky - if you're driving be prepared for some careful slow reversing and parallel parking

Location and breakfast ok

Everything: Room was cold when we got there. TV not working, host didn't even bother to check it. On Saturday, we spent the whole day freezing in the room as she turned down the heating. £125 is an absolute rip off. I'm opening a dispute with Booking to get my money back.

Jo was lovely made a really big effort. And went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and comfortable.

There was nothing to dislike it was a home, comfortable welcoming but not special or fancy . We had an up grade so we had our own bathroom I would not have liked sharing a barhroom. Did have a josh stick kind of smell which is not my cup of tea I could at least keep window open as weather warm enough.

Perfect spot for a nice, calm weekend in Lewes. The host is going to make you feel at home and the breakfast is outstanding especially if you get a chance to take it in the garden.

We stayed for two nights. We liked everything! Jo is kind and helpful, very nice person. She made us felt like home. Breakfast was delicious and served beautifully, great taste and looks yummy too. Brighton is only 20 min. drive but Lewes is much quieter and has beautiful heritage city centre. I highly recommend stay with Chez Jo B&B if you want to indulge in home like, warm and cosy atmosphere. It's just like visiting family. We personally don't like big hotels so it was really perfect choice! Definitely will come back to you Jo! Many Thanks 😊

I was welcomed by Jo ever since I confirmed my booking. She explained all the health and safety guidelines under Covid to make sure we keep everyone safe in the property. The property is only 10 mins walk from the train station and only a few mins walk from high street. Really convenient location. Everything is provided and all very clean. I love the comfy beddings. Breakfast is freshly made and delicious. It is truly a great value for money.

Welcome and breakfasts very good. Location also good for access on foot to Lewes, including buses. The house is furnished in a tasteful and individual way.

Parking is difficult in Lewes. Jo our hostess shared her limited private space with us. It is worth asking her advice in advance of stay if arriving by car.

Jo was very friendly and accomadated for every thing we asked. We felt very much at home. Arriving tired after a very long flight she brought a tea tray to our room and cheered us with her bright personality. Breakfast was SO good.

Bathroom products could have been better.
