Traditional Japanese guest house

利用は2度目になります。 お値段が安いのに清潔で丁寧な印象があります。 2名予約だった所をこちら都合で急遽1名になったのに、ちゃんと1名料金に変えて下さいました。お世話お掛けしました。 帰りもとても丁寧に見送ってくださいましてありがとうございました。 また利用させて頂きたいと思います。

冷蔵庫内のスイッチが入っておらず、冷えていないのに外気が寒いせいで気づかず、冷えてないまま食品を入れてしまいました。 チェックインの際に、スイッチを入れて使うように教えて頂けると嬉しいです。 あと、便座が冷たいので、カバーがあるといいなと思いました。

Sehr netter Gastgeber, einfacher und unkomplizierter Check-in und Check-out

Für uns waren die Futon-Betten absolut gar nichts. Man hat gefühlt auf einem Teppich auf dem harten Boden gelegen. Das Bad ist unserer Meinung nach Renovierungsbedürftig, das Waschbecken hängt, die Duschewanne ist nicht fest (bin fast gestürzt). Klar ist es eine Art der traditionellen Behausung, aber etwas sollte es schon für touristische Bedürfnisse und deren Standard angepasst sein

Super tolles Guesthouse mit eigenem Badezimmer und einer kleinen Küchenzeile (mit einer Herdplatte, Mikrowelle, Ofen, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher). Es gibt Teller, Tassen, Töpfe und Pfannen, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Es werden Handtücher und Bettwäsche zur Verfügung gestellt sowie auch Shampoo, Conditioner und Duschgel. Wir haben sogar Fahrräder zum Erkunden erhalten :). In der Nähe befinden sich Supermärkte. Der Gastgeber ist wirklich so ein freundlicher und herzlicher Mensch!!!

Das Guesthouse liegt etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum Kyoto. Wir hatten Fahrräder zum Erkunden Kyotos, man kann aber auch die Bahn nehmen.

The owner is the kindest person ever. He helped us in a very hard moment. First, when we arrived, we lost a bag in the train and he helped us find it. Second, we had to extend our stay for 8 more days and he kindly helped us. The room is pretty although small.

The bathroom is very small.

The house is located in a residential area. You get to experience how the locals go about their daily lives. We booked a Japanese style room with tatami and futons. The room is clean and tidy, it has all the things you need for a short stay. The room has the minimum for a kitchen, a stove and a pan for cooking and enough plates for meals. Great host, very prompt with our requests. That's very much appreciated. There were several supermarkets we explored to get ingredients for cooking on days we didn't go out for sightseeing. It's very close to the temples. And a short walk to the tram station.

The japanese style room was really cool to stay in for a couple of days, it is an experience that I recommend to try if you visit Kyoto. Additionally, the manager is really polite, helpful and attentive, we felt really welcomed during our stay.

The host is a most friendly man willing to help you with everything you need to know or get. Thanks a lot for this pleasant stay at this Japanese style room.

Super tidy and convenient room. Only issue is that it’s a little far from the central city but it’s very close to a couple of train stations and bus stops!!

Cute old style house/apartment. If you want to feel like local, go here! We were welcomed by sweet old man and when we checked out he gave us unexpected small souvenir, it made our day!

Slight far from central, but so quite the neighborhood. We slept very well. The owner is so polite and nice. A great experience to meet such a wonderful and nice person. Even gave us a small souvenir when we left. The room is great. Typical tatami mat style. Can even cook in the room. We also went to a great izakaya Japanese style bar very nearby. We like it very much!

everything was great! the owner was very polite and kind. the place was very clean. we enjoyed a lot staying there. everything was clean and comfortable. we almost was falling asleep to do check out 😅

The room was great and the amenities provided were fantastic as well. They gave free welcome cookies which were absolutely delicious as well.

The landlord is utterly kind and nice. It's a true Japanese living experience, including the futon, and the typical Japanese bath. The position is great, right in front of the Toei park, and close to convenience stores and the transportation.

it’s so clean and nice, can experience sleeping on futon bed we’re so happy! definitely will come back ♡ the staff is super nice we love him. near to the station, it took us less than 10 minutes walking from the guesthouse to the station.

The owner is very nice. There was a drama while I arrived the hotel and the owner was out, but he drove back to welcome me which I appreciated.

The AC is not as warm as expected. The room was a bit cold at night. Wishing there's good working washing and drying machine.
