Location incredible. Short walk to Stanley Park and also English Bay and other beaches and walks. Close to downtown so no need to drive. Very private and quiet area. Kitchen well equipped. Nice comfortable bed. Excellent wifi.

The location was perfect if you want to walk through Stanley Park, the beaches or the West End. Denman St is only 2 blocks away with a large selection of cafes and bistros plus a liquor store and grocery store. The park like gardens surrounding the block made it feel like you were in Central Park! The apartment was very large and had a PROPER kitchen, such a delight! Unlike travel in Europe where you have to find laundromats within walking distance, Rosellen had a fantastic laundry room at a very reasonable cost.
There was absolutely nothing to fault. Was no surprise to speak to several other travellers who stated that they have come back to Rosellen over the years because it is so homely and comfortable.

Located close to Stanley Park which is great for walking and cycling. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen had all the basic requirements. Great supply of fresh towels and bathroom repairs dealt with quickly. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.
The bedroom was a tight fit for the bed, might be better rotated 90 degrees. Headboard was loose and rattled if someone turned over - solved this by stuffing a blanket around it. We were worried it might be damaging the wall. The shower valve could do with replacing as some water continued to flow into the bath, reducing shower pressure.

The suites felt more like a condominium than a hotel - I definitely got the feeling of living like a local! The neighborhood of West End right next to Stanley Park is unparalleled in safety and convenience. And the mahogany furniture in the living room was nothing short of luxurious.
The staff was friendly, the elevator vintage, and the office had an outstanding espresso machine!
The only (small) drawback was that, what with the old-fashioned central heating, I could not turn the heat up as much as I wanted to - but in the end I was not cold. Maybe I did not need that level of heat after all. :)

Our key cards kept failing! There is no elevator to the underground parking so difficult to bring heavy suitcases in from that way. Had to double park on the street to drop off luggage.

1 block from Stanley Park and 2 blocks from restaurants, shops and cafes - who could ask for a better location? The apartment had 2 queen bed bedrooms as well as a roomy lounge/dining area, a separate kitchen with all the amenities you would need for a longer stay and even a separate desk where my husband could work! The staff were very helpful.
The apartment is a little dated and there were a couple of cupboards with broken hinges, but nothing that would make this apartment hotel untenable.

room size is a big plus. some rooms are more renovated than others. love being a block from Stanly Park or 20 minutes from BC Place. Great restaurants and coffee shops 3 blocks away. Quiet area. 4 blocks from English Bay. staff are always friendly.

Location was great. The suite was huge. The kitchen had all the utensils and pots and pans required to cook. It had some really funky furniture as well. The check in desk was efficient and super friendly.
The remote control didn't work on the TV and some of the furniture was a bit dated.

The bathroom was lacking in a place to put things like extra kleenex toilet paper, towels. Also no place near sink to place toothbrushes or shaving cream, etc.

We love the location. The bed was super comfortable and our suite had everything we needed. we will highly recommend to all our friends. Staff were super friendly.
kettle wasn't working very well. needs to be replaced. Spatula in the utensil drawer was dirty. Shower doesn't turn on properly. always water coming out tap when shower is on.

old… kent, the guy at the front desk was very friendly, however we left our luggage and agreed to come back to get them at a specific time. I tried calling and at least 5 different people hang the call. we almost lost our shuttle to Whistler because of this

The space was large and bright and spotless! Although an older building, it seems maintained and the towels, sheets, coffee machine and microwave all seemed brand new. With a few "touchups" one wouldn't realize its age inside.
The carpet in the living room was "wavy" but clean. It might have been a tripping issue for some. Would have liked to have a recycle container for recycling.
