Comfortable old hotel in good location

Clean room with good bathroom and comfy bed in a very convenient location and inexpensive parking nearby

This hotel is quite old and generally in need of a face lift but there isn't really anything not to like about it.

Très bien, confortable, amical, efficace.

La proximité des activités autour. Personnel souriant et serviable. "Coziness" de la chambre. Nous avions une chambre à un bout de couloir, c'était parfait.

Nous n'avions pas réalisé que c'était une chambre seulement. Un micro-onde et des ustensiles aurait été apprécié mais c'est notre faute de ne pas avoir remarqué lors de la réservation.

Très bien situé, très propre, super!

Je n'en revenais tout simplement pas que cet hôtel, si propre, si bien situé, à un tarif inférieur à la majorité des hôtels, existe.

J'aurais aimé me faire chauffer de l'eau pour me faire une tisane mais il il n'y avait qu'une keuring dans la chambre.

L'emplacement idéal, le rapport qualité prix, le personnel souriant et aidant.

Le manque de possibilité de contrôler la température de la chambre, trop chaud à mon goût la nuit.

Good hotel in University area…walk to lively old city

Spacious room, comfortable bed, quiet area close to many Montreal attractions. Fantastic restaurant/galleries precinct 10 minutes walk. Also close to NOTRE DAME.

friendly budget hotel which was good value for money and not far from downtown Montreal

the staff were friendly, helpful and always cheerful.

the decoration was a little 'tired'. however, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable, so the decoration wasn't an issue.

Great location for a one-night stay in Montréal

Great location for an overnight stay before our onward journey to Québec City. Conveniently close to the bus station, nice cafés and restaurants in a lovely part of the city. Large room with two double beds and a sofa bed perfect for our two teenagers.

There were no breakfast facilities but lots of lovely cafés nearby so wasn't actually a problem for us.

Good place for most normal people

The room didn't have carpet and the window opened. I have breathing issues and need air. That worked for me. It was warm. Good bathroom. Lots of outlets. Definitely not a luxury place but it's fine.

Old building smell. Weird carpet smell in the hallways. I'm allergic to that stuff but it wasn't as bad as a lot of places. Sound travels. It was really quiet aside from someone dragging a chair around in the night or whatever it was.

Exceptional

The hotel was built in the 1930's and has a very old world charm. The room was probably the largest room I've ever had in a hotel.The floors are original hardwood with original water radiator heating. It was a real pleasure staying here.

Perfect stay for mid tier hotels !

Price was amazing,.location was perfect for being outside of the hustle and bustle. Nice walk to old port under minutes.

Not modern , some things a little older.

Superb

Everything! Location was great, it was clean, it was nice. Such great value, too. For a quick weekend trip to Montreal, it was perfect.

Only complaint was the water pressure. At one point my shower just stopped because too many other people were showering at the same time I guess? But honestly for how great everything else was, I'd overlook it and come back.
