It was clean, calm and classy!

The only part I didn’t like was that they were out of a few things at the bar. I order two different drinks they couldn’t make because they ran out of stock on some of the components. I also needed ice and sent a text message as instructed but it was always long to respond or it didn’t come at all.

The Staff! Fantastic individuals so courteous and friendly. The cleanliness and architecture, including the artwork are absolutely amazing.

The hotel was gorgeous. Very modern, inviting and clean. What we loved the most was the amazing staff. Nigel was very accomodating, knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. We went for a birthday escape and was treated with a surprise of champagne and chocolate/nut box. Truly made our day extra special! Will definitely be back!

The property was clean, modern and staff is friendly, professional and helpful. The location worked out well getting into and out of the property plus distance to DC was nice.

I would personally prefer a coffee maker, sockets near large mirror and more food options. The heating and air unit was loud, so we turned it off and opened the balcony door which worked out fine. There wasn’t a vent in the bathroom.

Neues Hotel, tolles großes Zimmer/Bad, sehr freundliches Personal. Die Bar war TOP und super Personal und leckere Drinks. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

An der Rezeption muss gesagt werden, dass das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll. Hier und das war das Personal noch nicht eingespielt. Unterschiedliche Aussagen z. B. im Bistro getroffen.

Beautiful and modern, excellent staff and upscale residential vibe. Walking distance to great restaurants and Old Town Alexandria. Highly recommend this hotel. Great gym and outdoor lounge area.

Localizacao - proximo à estacao de metro (a 2 estacoes do aeroproto Reagan e a uns 15 minutos de Washington DC), supermercado e a alguns minutos a pe do centro. Hotel limpo, decoracao moderna, quarto amplo e confortavel. Equipe muito atenciosa.

Nao chega a ser algo negativo, mas o chuveiro poderia ter uma pressao maior da agua (para o meu gosto).

From first impression, it looked clean and nice. The location wasn’t bad. Upon checkout, the assistant manager asked how everything was and I told her I was disappointed and she definitely took my concerns and made me feel like I mattered. She handled things from a customer service point of view 100%.

We had a room with a balcony and the AC unit made a dreadful loud nice. Awful! Got moved to another room and it was dirty! Then moved to another room at 2am. Super inconvenient. Beds and pillows were not comfortable. Shower head pressure was terrible.

I love the European decor. Felt like what I was in another country. It was so clean. The staff were excellent.

The dog smell in the elevators. Literally had to hold my breath every time.

The property is sleek, gorgeous, modern, and very clean. When walking around the property, it felt like walking around an art gallery. Love the location.

I didn’t like that they didn’t offer room service however the hotel is still in the “soft” opening phase.

Never came to make our bed ,give us fresh towels , refill coffee station or do general cleanup. Took us 2hours, 2 phone calls and going to front desk to get the things we needed.

If you are looking for a hotel for an extended stay in Alexandria, I cannot imagine anything more comfortable than AKA. My husband and I enjoyed our time at the hotel. We were comfortable drinking coffee and working at the table in our room. The design and cleanliness of the room was great. The complimentary Wi-Fi was working properly. Note that the hotel is some way away from areas crowded by tourists, but still within walking distance of them. If you value privacy and like to walk, this is the right option for you. We were surrounded by the care of the hotel team from the moment we walked into the lobby. We were checked in by Anastasia who was incredible. And all the team members we interacted with afterward were friendly and pleasant. Our room did not have a kitchen, but we specifically looked for such an option, as we prefer to eat in cafes when traveling and generally think such rooms are cozier. But we had a nice refrigerator and an awesome capsule coffee machine. We liked that the cleaning service was not automatic daily. We requested it in the lobby as needed. This made our stay at the hotel not only more sustainable but also more private. There is nothing to improve! AKA is perfect. My husband and I will always try to stay at AKA while traveling in the USA and abroad.
