Abrasive staff, unhelpful. We were not given a double Queen room which we paid for in advance and had confirmed. We arrived at the room at 1.30am to a king room and told that was all we could have even though we required the double queen room for medical reasons. When we asked what had happened I was further embarrassed and humiliated after a long exhausting flight to explain why I needed the room we had booked . I was told there was a sofa bed so basically tough and because it had a balcony which was literally a foot deep with no ability to sit on there would be no refund of the extra I had paid for the queen room. Neither myself or my husband can sleep on a sofa bed made of two separate hard cushions and that’s not what we paid for. When we queried again the next morning with the manager she was abrasive , unhelpful and when she finally let it slip that we could have Marriott points but as we weren’t members then tough she seemed genuinely annoyed when I said actually I am a member. She then tried to only add points for one night instead of two and wouldn’t give me any idea of how many points or how much they were worth . I am disgusted at our treatment hence the scoring . I can’t give a better score because we were defrauded on the contract we agreed with the hotel.

The hotel is modern and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I'd absolutely stay there again.

We were supplied with one hand towel for 2 people, 2 washcloths and told if we want someone to clean the room, we would have to call. I requested a washcloth to wax my face for we were going out to supper and did not receive one as the hotel had no clean washcloths. Pathetic

Room was excellent. Parking instructions need to be explained in more detail before entering garage for the first time. Location ok. Would have been nice to have a shuttle to downtown Alexandria, airport, etc.

Female clerk at desk was not friendly, working on cell phone while we stood there waiting without any recognition from her, like Be with you in a minute. Finally answered our question, but seemed like she'd rather be doing something else.

The hotel was great, but DO NOT book through Booking.com. It was impossible to get in touch with a customer service rep when I needed to change the reservation by one night. I ended up having to pay one room for a night that wasn't used.

I usually bring my firestick to hotels with me, this one did not connect to it and their tv guide does not include any movie channels

Room, location and parking were excellent.

Restaurant was poor. Great service but poor food.

The location is wonderful and the room is spacious. We especially appreciate the separate living area— with a door that closes to the bedroom.

The breakfast baked goods always seem dried out and the room seemed a little stale-smelling. could be the disinfectant they use.
