It's always a pleasure to stay at Linden Row. This trip was too short to take advantage of the bar/restaurant & breakfast - may be next time.

Location, the history of the building.
The staff was extremely rude and mean. Getting to the rooms was not ADA compliant. I debated bringing my mom with us, but now it's a blessing she didn't want to come because anyone who has mobility issues wouldn't be able to get to their room. Extremely difficult to get to with a baby and stroller too.

Linden Row has a charming atmosphere, our room was excellent this time around. We've decided to make this a semi-annual trip for us, just for fun!
The only downside was not seeing Annabelle this time around!

Historic, great location, Annabelle.

Everything was good. Not a big fan of breakfast all day on weekends at restaurant but turned out ok.
Bathroom by restaurant was not very clean.

Nice room, large bathroom, good location close to some great eateries. Good staff on the desk - very polite and helpful. Annabel the cat is very cute! Restaurant in the hotel is excellent.
A little different to the photos - room was gloomy, a little worn, and no floor mats.

the courtyard was nice and some of the staff were friendly.
Everything else. the beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, the location was ok but not ideal, the tv, coffee machine, and microwave did not work. no water was provided and there was no breakfast perks. additionally, we had to pay for parking in an off-site garage on top of the absurd 250 dollar a night charge for a lumpy bed and noisy upstairs neighbors.

it was close to where the wedding reception we were attending.
My sister was verbally abused by an employee within and outside the hotel with obscenities for trying to park her car. There was no hot water is some of the rooms and no television service. Maid service was not done due to staff shortages and going downstairs for a cup of coffee cost $4 when all other hotels I have frequent give the morning coffee for free.

The staff was so friendly! They upgraded our room to a king for free for our anniversary. They have a lobby cat named Annabelle who is just sweet as can be so extra bonus points for her! The location is super central to restaurants, museums, the library, and parking. It was a historic and comfy stay and I highly recommend it.
There is no maid service unless you request it but that's not a deal breaker.

Great restaurant in the hotel
The bed boxspring had springs that made noise on every move. Sleep was a challenge. Local channels kept cutting out on the TV reception, ended up just turning it off and streaming off our phones.

the resident cat
there was visibly mold on the picture frames in the room, the tv didn’t work, wallpaper was hanging off the wall, water damage.

Historic building

The location was good, and I felt like the place had a “good vibe”. The people were all very friendly and welcoming.
The rooms were comfy yet completely lacking in amenities except for the basic. I would have liked to at least have a bottled water to go with my Keurig and plastic cups. Also, have a person to answer the phone. I was driving around aimlessly trying to find parking while a recording told me a bunch of stuff I didn’t need to know. Upon parking and check in it was pretty clear that the people on duty had ample time to answer the phone.

comfortable, clean, quiet
There were only two hangers in the closet.

location was great to downtown activities!
Such a special historical property that isn’t being maintained and details are missing. Bathroom sink was crusted with dried soap, bed sheets were not put on bed correctly and bed skirt tucked up n the mattress, mattress was old and uncomfortable, furniture n room needed cleaning, stair steps had not been vacuumed in forever. sooo disappointing. staff wasn’t welcoming or at tentative, told us nothing bout garage parking till we asked, just seemed totally uninterested!

Beautiful historic property… In the heart of Richmond… Wonderful staff.
Parking could’ve been a little better but… For an Intown hotel, it really was good

Walking distance to good restaurants. Annabell the cat on property. Nice sitting room. Historic property.
Restaurant/bar has limited hours. Not open everyday. Check in staff was disorganized and unprepared. No housekeeping service. I don’t mind not having new sheets and towels everyday, but at least they could replenish coffee supplies and empty the trash.

nice room
gave me the wrong room key twice. Had a gift
certificate won from a charity raffle and wouldn’t honor it since I booked through booking website. this was not disclosed anywhere on the charity gift certificate issued by the hotel.

amazing property. if you looking a downtown location with throwback feeling, this is your place. Really friendly and helpful front desk.

unique charm of old row houses converted to an Inn, location, E A Poe accents
no breakfast, even continental was offered, paying to park, adjoining bar closed too early
7.0 / 10.0
The old house is charming if still a work in progress. Be aware they do not offer breakfasts. Simple and relaxing.
It would be great if they kept the small refrigerator for guests stocked with ice and water. It was empty most of the time.
A good leaf blower used on the back porch area would help a lot.
