Good location, quiet. Travel plans changed at the last minute, had to take our Blue Heeler cattle dog with us, and this is NOT a pet friendly motel. The manager approved allowing the dog in the Van, as long as it did not come on the premises, which was very helpful. There is a green belt/bike, hiking trail across the street which was perfect for walking the dog off property.

We are both in our mid 70's and suffering from (hopefully temporary) knee issues. A handicap room or even a downstairs room would have been very helpful. The Motel seemed to have plenty of vacancies, but they wanted a significant upgrade in price for a downstairs room.

Very friendly staff. Nice big room and bathroom. The tables on the upstairs patio had a great view.

I would have loved a couple chairs in the room .

Nice staff, they cleaned my room for me. Convenient parking lot.

Close walk to beach, downtown SC. Nice clean room with a mini fridge and microwave.

Not enough towels in room.

Staff went over the top to make my stay comfortable. Working to give me a downstairs room, offering a late check out, where to go in town. Really nice!

Room very dirty, with stains and cigarette burns on the bed cover and chair, very sketchy neighborhood. The power went out in the middle of our stay at 10:30pm, and nobody was at the reception to help us and they were not answering their phone. We called booking.com, and they told us we'd get a full refund or the property would pay for an alternate accommodation, so we left and stayed at a different hotel that had power. After numerous phone calls with booking.com, they weren't able to process the refund, because the property claimed that we actually stayed there, when we didn't. So not only was the property really unprofessional and dishonest, booking.com took the hotel's word for it instead of ours, even though we called them during our stay whereas the hotel was not answering their phone. "Great" job from both the property and booking.com. Would never stay at this hotel or use booking.com again.
