Amazing location with a seaview outside the door. Within walking distance to downtown Santa Cruz and beautiful walks on West Cliff Drive. Comfortable bed. Had a wonderful stay and hope to return some time!

Location, spacious, accommodating.

Website stated family suite was on ground floor only - I assumed/expected ground floor accommodations for family members difficulty with stairs. Upon arrival, given 2nd floor. Did not mention this to staff, as staff was extremely nice and welcoming, but I was slightly disappointed that website was incorrect. If there is a next visit, I will specify to request ground floor.

The location

Confusion at check-in. The room was advertised as ‘having a sea view’. The only sea view was outside the room on the walkway.

The receptionists were fantastic! The view from the balcony was awe inspiring!!! I really loved this location..you could see the ocean and the boardwalk!!! i was really happy about my stay

The heater in the room and the fan in the bathroom were very noisy!

room was clean. Larger then expected.

An additional armchair or small love seat would have enhanced tv watching. Shower setup was a bit awkward for handicap use.

Not happy with parking very limited second night stay I was interrupted with somebody yelling profanity in the next room next to me was not good

It was a little noisy and the toilet moved a little.

Booking. com lists my confirmation on this room but didn't seem to charge my card. The room was listed for 64.47$ our intent was to stay an additional night on Monday which would cost 209$. When we checked in, they said we cancelled our reservation, which WE DID NOT! and had to then pay a full 208$ for Sunday night....sure seemed like a BAIT and SWITCH!!! Will NEVER go through BOOKING.COM again and will alert all my NEXTDOOR.com people to let them know

The location

The lack of updates in the room, lack of channels on the tv, no continental breakfast. They said it was due to Covid but other hotels in the area were providing...

Nice staff, good location

The location was fantastic directly across from the wharf. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The shower heads were tall & powerful.

Bed was creaky. Room smelled funny. No closet in my room. The bathroom was clearly visible to the parking lot & road. The door had to be closed or the curtain on the room drawn to have any kind of privacy. They used to offer danishes, bagels, juice, etc. There was no breakfast offering of any kind on this visit.
