I liked the nostalgia of the location. inline the walk-in shower with the rainfall shower head. plus our room had a balcony with a view of the fort.

I didn’t like that there were no elevators to get to the second floor. however, upon arrival the staff carried them up for us, but on check out we were responsible for carrying them down .

The location is absolutely perfect. The courtyard is the best we’ve seen in the area and the staff is amazing.

If you go to bed early, the street can be a bit noisy, however we found the noise died down at 10.

The location for the booking is really good. You’re in the middle of everything.

The bathroom had left over water bottles from the previous person who stayed. Also, make sure you actually get what you’re looking for (room wise). The pictures on this site are deceiving. We thought we booked a spot South a seperate bedroom and living room, that is not the case. The Collectors Inn was a place we stayed at before and recommend them over this place.

Second time we've stayed there and the staff is ALWAYS so pleasant and welcoming, always! Morning, noon and night, everyone is exceptional. Really enjoy talking to them and getting to know them.

Last time, in a different room, strong musty mildew smell, and hubby and I both had bad headaches the entire time because of it. We kept trying to air out the room. This time musty smell upon walking in but not as bad. Then the rug got wet because of the hurricane (I tried to protect it with towels at the bottom of the door, but eventually lost that battle.) When the rug wet it stuck pretty badly (didn't realize that was what it was at first), so we rolled it up and set it outside on the porch for the rest of the trip. We think that actually helped with the mustiness as well, room was noticeably better.

my favorite place to stay in St Augustine. the location is fabulous and the rooms are really nice.

It was so awesome to stay at this property, it was very unique and you kind of getting a vibe of this old city. Will definitely come back!

The location was close to everything. Staff was outstanding, as was the wine bar.

Location in the middle of everything also meant it was a little noisy in the room until everything closed. It’s a normal trade-off with the location.

We were fortunate enough to have our room above the main lobby, so access to check-in, check-out, breakfast and the elevator was perfect. We greatly enjoyed the live music all weekend and sitting on the patio listening to it. The whole Inn was very clean, and kept. Our room was quaint, not over the top, but very comfortable. The street was a bit noisy at night, but the fan we brought along for white noise, helped drown that out and we slept comfortably.

Not having parking right on the premises was a little inconvenient but the location of the Inn to everything made it easy to walk unless we were venturing across the bridge or beyond town. The parking garage can get full but we had no trouble finding a place each time.
