The Secret Garden Inn is a wonderful hidden gem! Not only was our room clean, comfortable, and fragrant (I loved the faint whiffs of incense), but the funky and eclectic environment provided was an absolute delight. Definitely a welcome change from the uniform, stead look of a hotel room. All the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful both in person and over the phone. The young woman who checked us in and escorted us to our room was so warm and hospitable with great energy. The breakfast is delicious! But have your order ready to go (the menu is provided in your room), as the restaurant didn't have a copy readily available when we popped in.

I liked the simplicity of the room and the convenience of parking on site. I also liked the unique personality and intimate style of the Inn versus the ordinary feel of large chain hotels.

Want to go to another country without actually leaving the US? This is the place for you. walking through the threshold you leave home behind and traverse into a Mediterranean type setting that is simply breathtaking. views overlooking the Pacific Ocean make for romantic nights. definitely a must visit.

We had great stay at the Secret Garden staff was friendly and I enjoyed the ambiance of the courtyard with fountains and koi pond we would definitely recommend someone looking for B and B staying at the Secret Garden in Del Mar.

The room is on rhe small size with a sink outside the bathroom.

The balconies were a little too close together, but no major complaints. Very happy over all. I would gladly stay again❣️

Good view to the sea and the amazing facilities on the balcony. The staff are quite friendly. The Mexico style breakfast is also fantastic.

It wasn’t like staying at a corporate hotel more like staying at someone’s cabin

It feels that you are in Europe, the place is quite and located near shops and restaurants.

I like about the property that is a small hotel and it’s nice and clean.

Location in Del Mar, nice partial ocean view

Management was hostile, not accomodsting. Refused to promptly return blanket we left in room, saying we had to wait an hour or more to pick up. Had early check in, when we got there said not ready. Not friendly not welcoming. No offering how can we help, etc. says there is breakfast, but it was a lunch from the restaurant not connected to the property.
