the staff was friendly and checkin was easy using booking.com. there was a side door to access my room.

I think the side door locks at a specific time. The inconvenience is having to walk around to the front of the building to get in when temperature is freezing.

The front office receptionist would not accept my chime debit card. He stated that La Quinta Inn does not accept Chime debit cards as payment, for some odd reason. I didn't have another method of payment and completely disrupted my traveling plans and my stay in Lawton Oklahoma. Making a long story short, I will never stay at La Quinta Inn hotels ever again and I travel a lot.

We loved the staff and everything was very nice. The beds slept well and the breakfast setup was nice. The rooms were setup well but could use some upgrades all the way through. Simple things like USB ports throughout. The first floor had these available but the fourth floor did not. I'm sure it's in the works. Thank you all for all of your efforts in making our stay as best of an experience as possible.

The only thing we didn't enjoy was the inability to keep crickets out of the building. This isn't a normal occurrence I'm sure but it took a lot away from our experience that could have been. If they could find a way to be one of the few hotels that are able to eliminate pests from entering the building such as better door sweeps, checking seals around the building, or even offering other solutions to help mitigate the nuisance then this hotel would set well on the charts.

Could have used the pool. Breakfast good. Staff seemed to have a cohesiveness. Familiar with the area. A lot has changed. Lots of places to eat within a few miles/blocks. Comfortable bed. Refrigerator froze my cooler blocks. Big room. Single bed. Lots of room for my gear. Courtesy Staff. 2nd shift desk clerk was cool. She was very good. My dad always stayed at LA Quinta. Military friendly.

Toilet rocked. Bolts need tightening. One elevator. Small, made a lotofnoise. Rude people staying there. No elevator etiquette. Move away so people can exit. Slamming doors. Woke up a few times because of the couple with the "Do Not Disturb" sign across the hall No elevator etiquette, either. Didn't sleep well, but that's not the fault of the hotel. Lot of weed smoking in the parking lot. Smelled it in the elevator. Bug's in the diffusers of the elevator. Mostly just the client's. Stayed the night at Fairfield in Chickasaw the night before. A step down.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds and sleeping area were clean and comfortable. Close to Ft. Sill. Breakfast was good- scrambled eggs and sausage one morning; eggs, biscuits and gravy the next, along with yogurt, pastries, cereal, waffles and fruit.

The whole place needs repair and updating. There was something splashed/stain on the wall next to the toilet. Looked like an animal had been left in the bathroom; the paint/wood on the door was badly scratched. There was a long nail sticking out of the baseboard in the bathroom. The swimming pool needs repair; cracks around the top, etc. Elevator needed maintenance; wasn’t sure if it was going to breakdown each ride. Carpet on the 4th floor needed vacuuming.

it smells wet & like animal & smoke . the outside looks new but not inside the room .. the shower head had a few holes that worked which grossed me out bc what’s clogging the other holes .. it wasn’t terrible i guess but i wouldn’t pay 100$ ever again for it . maybe 55-65 if i had to put a price on it . the elevator is hot af i can say the bed felt/looked clean which i can appreciate
