The value is pretty much the deal at this place. I slept good quite at times. Simple check in and out.
The room NEEDS lots of attention maintenance and EVERYTHING it provides inside the room.

Was definitely not the cleanest. There was literally blood on the wall in the bathroom. Another issue is that the front desk was sporadically missing. Seems like only one person was manning the main building. There was often people waiting outside to check in because staff was gone.

Conveniently located. Effortless to get in and out of. It has on-site parking. The staff are courteous and very helpful.
The manager came to get me when I got lost. Very kind!
It was expensive for what it is but I did book last minute, and it being summer and Santa Barbara… I understand.

Is it worth $140 a night? Not really. But considering that’s about as cheap as it gets for Santa Barbara, it was a solid stay. Clean enough, comfy enough. Good location, in walking distance of a lot of stores/restaurants and only a couple minutes drive to downtown.
The towels were a little more raggedy/not soft than I’d like, but besides the price (which, again, is still on the cheap side for Santa Barbara), that’s really my only complaint. Also wasn’t a big fan of the door not having a chain or secondary latch of any kind considering I was a woman traveling alone, but I just moved the table in front of the door and it wasn’t a concern.

Price for how run down and not updated. Burnt out light, hair in shower, paint peeling, leaking fridge with towel, no deadbolt.

The room was clean and the staff changed the towels everyday
Some of the towels had stains on them which I guess don't go away with the washing machine so it would be best to get new ones. Also the room needs refurbishment as although it was clean it was very old. The drawers from the furniture were falling off. And most importantly the receptionist staff was not friendly at all. When I was leaving the receptionist even gestured me to hand her the keys without talking to me

My room could have been cleaned MUCH better. There were random hairs throughout the room, and a messy oily substance on one of the two night stands…

It was convenient to our operations in Santa Barbara (several facilities near downtown) and for dining and a movie. The bed was comfortable (nether too stiff nor too soft), and the temperature controls were easy to adjust and understand. Parking was convenient to the room ,m which during a downpour was appreciated.
The room did have a bathroom fan issue - the bearing was apparently burnt out. With the motion sensor control, it was jarring when you went into the bathroom. We used the sink area light, and had to keep the door open as having the inside light was not an option due to the fan. The desk clerk was not really that friendly upon check in or check out, just handing us the key and appearing disgruntled when returning the key.

We were placed next to the laundry room so it was banging against our wall, but fortunately it stopped around 9:30PM.

The walls and doors need repair, and the sink smelled. The curtains were dirty, as well. The room was incredibly overpriced. We will not choose this motel again.

Room was very small and crowded, very difficult for two adults to maneuver around. Location too far away from main sightseeing areas to walk. Request when booking not honoured. Do not recommend this motel.

How close it was to the city
As soon as we walked into our room there was a bad smell, as well as hair everywhere. on the bed sheets, toilet & sink. I’m very disappointed.
