unfortunately only one elevator was working at the property but the staff was really great and the hotel was clean.

Noisy room due to the second floor window facing main street, the air conditioner did not get the room cool enough, no breakfast, price of the room was a little high considering there was no breakfast and the aforementioned issues with the air conditioner and noise

The bar and lounge are a nice added bonus.

That you are REQUIRED to valet park your car for an additional 35.00 a night, instead of driving it around the building yourself and parking it in their garage and taking the elevator up to your room. RIP OFF considering all the other times I have stayed at this hotel I have NEVER been required to valet park. Room (especially the shower) had LOTS of mildew, and I am pretty sure BOTH elevators are on their last leg. If you want to market your hotel as BOUGIE Birmingham hotel, you are going to need to step it up A LOT, or take new pictures that properly dictate how the hotel really looks.

staff was pleasant at first. however somehow they charged two of my cards, one from booking.com and one that I wanted charged there. when I told the check in desk I was told there was nothing she could do but she would tell the night auditor. I had to call back 8 days later because nothing was done. she then finally refunded the money but said it would take another 10 days for me to get my money.

Breakfast was delicious and the staff took care of all our needs.

no free breakfast, there was a fight in the hallway of our room location at 2:45 in the morning which ruined my sleep! overall was a terrible night will never book here again!

The floors In our room had not been cleaned. There were still hairs in the shower. The music from the night clubs kept us up all night.

one lamp didnt have the knob to be turned on, the curtains were broken. also when we originally booked it was for a standard king room once we arrived it was a double room cause they said they “were out for weeks”
