Decent sausage with breakfast. Good coffee
We found a bug in the bed before leaving the hotel. My knees were literally touching the bathroom vanity. No bathroom tissues available. The air conditioning was so loud we actually recorded 55 decibels. Towels/sheets were not great quality. The room carpet was literally falling apart at the seams. There was a leak in the corner of the closet right above the extra pillows with a complementary fly swatter. We coudn't even voice any concerns because there was no one around at the front desk for check out.
I understand why this is recommended as a wedding venue (the wedding venue and the grounds are lovely). However, the rooms leave a lot to be desired. I think this hotel used to be gorgeous 30-40+ years ago but it's now fallen into significant disrepair. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone to stay here. Sorry!

The wedding reception was at the facility so no travel time
It didn’t seem clear to me

The spa was nice
The coffee was good
Shabby shabby room.
There's "antique" then there's obsolete.
This room was definitely more obsolete than antique.
Furniture was old with missing veneer and warning signs not to open lest the piece fall over ??!!!!!
Entrance door to room stuck very badly.
Some of the venetian blinds were missing the adjusters to set the blind from open to closed.
TV didn't work
One table lamp didn't work at all and had holes in the shade.
The other table lamp had a bad switch and crackled when you tried to work it.
Electrical outlets were few and inaccessible.
Old bed had a horrid box spring that squeaked terribly whenever you moved.
Pillows and blankets were old and seemed like they were bought at Goodwill. They were just old and poor quality.
And the room smelled moldy like an old library
There was peeling paint on the room trim moldings .
Fireplace had the gas appliance replaced by a cheap fake electric log set that only projected flames .
Not too romantic.
Minimal bath towels with NO face cloths.
Spa had a tub ring which WE had to clean before using.
Breakfast was very limited and was served lukewarm with the side dish looking somewhat burned. Very poor for this sort of venue.

comfortable
The whole place seems a bit past it’s prime

Beautiful grounds. Very friendly & informative groundskeeper.
1) Breakfast: French toast (1 piece), soggy hash browns & bacon. No eggs. No second piece of French Toast. Really? Reason reluctantly given- No eggs available. Also no manager available.
2) we (couple) were assigned the single room & our single friend the double. Really?
3) Chose this inn for “full breakfast” as we were picking up puppies and traveling 7 hours with no ability to stop at a restaurant.

Breakfast was delicious, but fewer options were provided than what I had read about in some of the other reviews. Very pretty estate, most suitable for weddings and events.
There were 3 weddings while we were there and unfortunately as a result, our group (which came in 2 cars) had a hard time finding parking. As guests at the estate who were not part of the wedding groups, it would have been appropriate for the Inn to reserve parking spots for us since we were already been staying there.

Bed was super comfy. Soaking tub was awesome. Dinner was amazing. Gorgeous grounds and the staff were very accommodating
Super thin walls. You can hear everything. Not a big variation in breakfast, though it was tasty. Floors were vacuumed in our room, but black when we wiped up some water. Long walk outside to our room from the car since no entry from the main house. Used booking and weren't given the right room. Staff accommodated and gave us the correct (and more expensive) room at no extra charge. Thats a positive thing obviously. But things weren't made very clear about our room or services when booking so I wish that was a little better

The air conditioner wasn’t working well and the television for 2 days was not working
The food and housekeeping. We never got our room cleaned.

Beautiful location. We were there for a wedding which was lovely. We booked the budget rooms which are on the 3rd floor and accessible by steps only so be careful if that’s an issue. And since this is an old mansion the A/C was quite chilly but understandable
to get to the 3rd floor. The breakfast in the morning is a full breakfast and served in a lovely dining room. Would definitely stay again!

The grounds were nice, the room was comfortable.
We were on the third floor, and there is no elevator. The breakfast staff in the morning were very unorganized.

Breakfast was good and a nice variety.
More parking available for guests.
The weddings took most of the parking.

Small bathroom and toilet worked poorly.

The grounds were pretty
The bathroom wasn't clean and there was stains on the pillow cases. Also we picked a room with the water view. There is no water and our room was in the attic:-( don't waste your money stay at a know hotel

Beautiful grounds, wonderful,
friendly and accommodating staff.
Rooms were in poor condition. Bed linens were scarce, old and scratchy. Pillows may have been as old as the house itself. I joke, but they were OLD.

Breakfast was hot and very good. Plenty of food and hot coffee during breakfast. Wish there had been lunch option.
I moved a chair in our room and the area was so DIRTY!!!! Housekeeping when asked did clean it in several areas in our room. Also at wedding rehearsal dinner someone went to sit their drink on top of fireplace mantle and someone yelled that’s filthy don’t sit your drink there.

beautiful location rich with history. Friendly staff especially Linda who was informative about local places of interest.
we stayed in the smoke room suite #17 which was spacious and clean. the only issues we encountered were the slippery icy deck and back stairs. they were salted the night of arrival but very dangerous the second day/ evening. also the room needs a full length mirror.

The breakfast was good but was exactly the same for the 3 nights we were there. I had also requested a diabetic friendly breakfast but was served waffles and syrup every day.
Had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was excellent. Would rate the evening meal in the restaurant 5 stars.
See above.

Amazing room, friendly staff, and great suggestion for something to do in the area. Bubes Brewery was a fantastic suggestion.
Longer serving hours for breakfast.

The hotel was very nice and located in a great place for us. The interactions we had with the staff were positive.
They seemed short-staffed, which is completely understandable. When we got there at 6:40pm, there was no one to check us in and repeated calls to the suggested number led to voice mail with no call back. I was ultimately able to get a member of the staff to get the key for our room. A similar thing occurred when we tried to check out the next morning around 10am and we ended up just leaving the keys in the drop box.

We spent the night at Cameron Estate Inn after visiting Hershey Park Christmas Lights (magical this time of the year). The place was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for our family of four and the unit had everything we need. Breakfast was excellent and exceeded our expectations (the best bacon we ever had). We wish we could stay longer!

Terrible breakfast. Cold waffels artificial eggs, rubber bacon noone arround noone to take away dirty plates
Everything, again noone around. Dinner very few items from menue available. Having to move rooms because we had dogs No ice in icemaker. Take out cups no lids available. The best Thing was the beautifull surrounding.

The ONLY thing we weren’t crazy about was the comfort of the bed. It was BEAUTIFUL, but the King bed was a bit hard & the pillows weren’t the best… for the price we wanted a great night’s sleep. Wonderful staff & property, though!! Very charming.
5.0 / 10.0
Still a beautiful property but new ownership has taken away all of the personal touches that used to be there.
Also, there was a huge open crack in the ceiling of our very tiny bathroom. We were there for one night so we lived with it.
Breakfast was the worst. Two years ago we had waiter service and could pick our breakfast which was made to order. Instead we were greeted with a corner buffet of less quality than a Holiday Inn and the hardest home fries I have ever tried to eat. We were going to have our wedding there but we changed our minds. It’s a good thing we went! Otherwise, we would have been very disappointed.
