Location, close to everything in the French Quarter

Minimal issues (hair found on the clean towels, had to ask for batteries for the tv remote), until our third night there. We found HUGE cockroaches throughout the room. When I told the front desk receptionist I needed a new room, all that was said to me was “I’ll meet you downstairs.” No apology, no acknowledgement of how upsetting this was. Went down to the lobby to get a new room issued and was told that the huge roaches are normal in the French Quarters. No incentive offered or even an apology. I understand the hotel is already short staffed, but this is unacceptable. So unless you like sleeping with roaches crawling around your room , be aware of what to expect.

The location is excellent. Right on the edge of the French Quarter and Canal Street the more modern side of town.

Loved the old charm of the hotel. The staff was exceptional & the rooms were very clean.

Needed a second small bedside table. Also I think there is room for a small dresser by the refrigerator. The bathroom was extremely small.

when checking in, there was a back and forth between staff. a very disrespectful confrontation that only progressively increased in a into very heated almost to blows. one front desk clerk and the other was a manager. cussing and threats were made. some how I was brought into. as I waited to get checked in. as well as another guest. this went on for about 30 minutes. on top of that to start my stay there. the elevator was dirty. and the power to one side of the room went out. not knowing in till the next day so when I got my day started with a dead cell. I ask to speak to someone in charge and was told to contact corporate.
