Good neighborhood and close to stores. Bed was good!

Wallpaper came off the wall Had to pay $3 extra for no significant reason Bathroom was in need of some love (like the rest of the room) REALY A LOT OF NOISE! We are used to a lot of noise but could literally follow the conversation of our neighbor’s since 6:15 am. Cars on the road are really loud and it’s a busy road from early on in the morning. Clean and orderly.

Lack of professionalism. Rude.

I needed a place to stay for a night on the north side of Chicago, and the budget was pretty tight. I spend hours looking on airbnb and communicating with different hosts. The responses were mostly, "street parking and make sure you don't wake up my grandmother". Long story short I took a gamble on Rodeway Inn and it paid off. The room was clean, neat and comfortable. The towels were nice and the bed was more than acceptable. The room was small, but had a TV, table with chairs, king size bed, a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Check in was super easy and the parking was FREE. Wifi is also free (I didn't use it). It's walking distance to Panera and Starbucks. It's about halfway between Lake Shore Drive and the Edens Expressway, so getting anywhere is pretty easy. Lou Malnati's - the best pizza in the history of pizza - is minutes away.

Two small things: A shelf in the bathroom near the sink to put lotions, potions and toothpaste. There was no place to hang up clothes and no hangers to hang them on.

Surly and foul mouthed front office staff woman. Should not be customer facing.

The property itself is very conveniently located. right across the street from Ross, TJ Maxx, a Panera bread and a Starbucks. It’s about 30-40 minutes from major attractions and we’ll worth the “cheap” price for that alone. The room was well updated and clean. We had a stand up shower in our bathroom. There is a microwave and a fridge.

Check in was a little confusing. Here on booking it says 12pm but that was my error for not checking more thoroughly. Check in is at 3pm. When we did get checked we were assigned to a room who still had a housekeeper working on it. She told us to give her a little bit and after waiting a while we went to the front desk where the issue was resolved and we were assigned a new room. You can easily hear your neighbors.

Clean room, no bugs, quiet, I slept fine. Housekeepers were nice and checked in daily. There is a microwave and a fridge.

Worst was there was almost never anyone at front desk when I needed them, and no answer if you dialed zero. First night I was locked out b/c key card didn't work, and there was nobody at desk,no answer at phone, no note on the door; eventually the front desk person came back from her "break.". No chair, no hangers, no hooks or rods, no closet space. TV remote didn't work too well: volume could not be lowered and no-one at desk to ask. So I wore earplugs to watch TV. Cannot see anything below the neck in the tiny mirror.

This was the worst service ever. the administrator charged a double price for the room. I told her many times that my card doesn't have a chip and she doesn't listen, and then she repeatedly withdraws money from the card until the bank blocked the card. there was no wifi.

All. This was the worst service ever
