Breakfast and the location. The room was decent

Pool sucked. Gross, small and cold. Bathroom smelt like mildew. We thought we received an upgrade according to an email, but then was told no when got there.

everything about the property and my stay was amazing. concierge Dave, Glenn, and Jessica were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what NOLA has to offer. I appreciate the front desk staff such as Rickie and Destiny who treat me like family. The gym was so clean you can eat off the floor. I appreciate the breakfast set where they had a crew to serve the breakfast who were clean and smiled every morning, what a great way to start the day. There was one severer at the breakfast who seemed like she was in a bad mood every time iI saw her (short, mature, plus size, and spoke Spanish). She seemed as if she was stuck doing a shift she did not want. She did not give me and trouble nor was she rude but her attitude needs to be adjusted. To look mean first thing in the morning and not seem welcoming is not how people should be greeted. Everyone else said good morning and smile especially the young women who wore a ponytail and spoke Spanish. She was very welcoming. Nonetheless I had an amazing week this hotel.
The Location, the gym, the laundry room, and of course the room. Lord a mercy the rooms!!! it had everything!!! I love it.

This hotel was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable! My husband and I walked everywhere or took an Uber. It was the perfect location! When I say “clean” I mean clean! There was always someone cleaning floors, bathrooms, glass, always cleaning. The smell when you walked in was amazing! The concierge, Glen, was awesome!
There were no bedbug covers on the mattresses.

I don’t think we could have chosen better location. Three blocks from the Bourbon Street this hotel provides excellent base for exploring French Quarter or Garden District by the St. Charles streetcar. In the very city center it provides a quiet shelter from the hassle of Bourbon street. Highly recommended.

The closeness to public transportation to Jazz Fest, closeness to the French Quarter, staff friendliness and helpfulness, breakfast. I also liked the security of the building.

It was comfortable, roomy and quiet. They were able to provide a quiet room on the fourth floor which I had requested. There was a person near the front desk that could help with questions about the city. There was adequate response to problems that occurred when I reported them to the front desk.
I am attracted to Home Suites because it gives the opportunity to prepare my own food.
1. Before I arrived in New Orleans, I sent emails with questions. I never got any answer at all. I only received offers for a better room or tours during my stay which I had not asked for nor needed. That was compensated by the adequate help provided on site. However, the communication with guests beforehand needs to be upgraded and more personalized. Not all those automatically sent offer mails.
2, For the breakfast provided, there were no alternative options for the milk butter and cheese. For example, Only butter, no margarine. Only cow’s milk, no possibility of alternative, The cook had no oil to cook with and could therefore not make eggs for me without butter. She did her best for me one morning to specially scramble eggs with minimal butter product.

The location was great. The concierge were wonderful. The hotel was comfortable. Simmie the GM was great and professional.
The front desk representative was non empathetic. Just kept saying our reservation was canceled.
Told us our reservation was canceled and told us to contact Booking.com even though we had a green confirmation. Luckily,the GM Simmie was there and took care of us!!

The hot food was hot the cold items cold Food not as tasty as it was 2 yrs ago when we stayed there
The room was dusty especially the fan!! toilet not cleaned well . We stay at this hotel for the kitchen but only had one small pot and one med sized skillet On prior stay there were lots of things to cook in .Day one asked for ice bucket got it 2 days later no detergent for dish washer had to buy my own no dish towels got them 2 days into stay after I went to front desk because no one ever brought them to the room Many of the housekeepers did not really understand English

The breakfast was better than expected with hot menu items as well as the typical Continental breakfast. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating! They helped with a few requests right away and everyone was very professional and kind. Great location, just at the edge of the French Quarter and Downtown.
We had a problem with the electronic key to the room. The battery ran out so we couldn't get in. But, the technician arrived in about 10 minutes to replace the battery pack and then no further issues. The cost of parking was more than expected (Booking.com listed $44 per day, but it's now $48.)

I liked the location, able to walk everywhere.
When I walked into my room it had a very strong odor of bleach and my shower wasn’t too clean. Also my room was never cleaned. When I called the front desk they told me the crew was gone for the day. I was told to put my towels outside the door, they were still there when I checked out.

The room was very nice for the price. The location was wonderful! We were in walking distance of all the french quarter attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt very safe at the location.
The checkin process could have been better. The room was not ready for almost 2 hours past the check in time. I understand that we checked in a Friday and it was St. Patrick's Day. It wold have been great if someone had called and given us a heads up that we wouldn't be able to check in on time so we could have planned better.

The location appeared nice on website. The hotels location made my family and self uncomfortable and unsafe. The hotel kept the doors locked and it was 10am in the morning reason was because of safety and said homeless folks wondering.
Location was not as it was described in the picture.. total cast fish.

La connexion internet est vraiment affreuse dans les chambres comme dans le lobby, le déjeuner est copieux mais redondant manque de variété fruits….Notre chambre n’avait aucune fenêtre ouvrable et il y a du tapis partout ça fait un peu manque d’air !

Like the kitchenette and that everything worked as it is supposed to.
Just one strange interaction with a receptionist who told us we could go around the corner to get a drink when we were trying to get a price on one drink that was at the self-service. That was strange.

The size of the room was great
The cost of valet was insane. Couldn't access the pool. They forgot to give us towels. Had to ask twice. In a hot location, I take at least 2 showers a day cause I sweat. Only 1 set of towels a day for this trip. Also, having to use a card to get into the hotel and the elevator and the room was good for security but bad for practicality. Out room couldn't be farther away from the elevator. Having a family member with a disability made it impractical.

Michelle at the Front Desk was the only employee that seemed even the slightest bit friendly
Our room wasn't ready at 4 on Sunday no big deal at 5:15 it was. however when we got to the room, there was not a shade on the window by the bed. Called Michell at the desk and she sent Engineering, he however said we should move as he couldn't fix it right then. The desk was still a mess with people not being able to get into their rooms so we decided that they could fix it Monday and all would be good. Monday we went out thinking that it would be fixed when we got back, NOPE! but is was like 7:30 so we decided to see what they would say on Tuesday. There is billboard right across from the hotel that were lit up and all night that is all I could see. So Tuesday we talked to Michelle and she said she was sorry, by this time we realized we had not soap or shampoo in the shower or any soap by the sink and the toliet would not flush. We decided to move, Michelle asked if she could just make sure all was good in that room. So we moved and went out for the day. Got back to the hotel and again there was no soap in the showier, no shampoo in the shower or soap by the sink. If our room would not have been pre paid I certainly would have checked out at that point. We have stayed at Homewood Hiltons before and always had a great experience. We work hard for our vacation money and I felt like I spent it unwisely this time.

We love the location. Close enough to the French Quarter, but far enough to be quiet for kids.
Valet guys are super nice.
We visited 6 years ago and assumed we would have the same great experience. I know Covid changed how business run now, but this is not the same hotel. The breakfast was the bare minimum. The staff were annoyed and short with guests, I get it, Karen's everywhere, but when you have kids and they are out of everything at 9 am. They no longer have the social hour in the evening. We reserved courtyard view and received side street with 7am mass and bells. Our room was not clean. Floors were sticky, shower was dingy and the fridge had a handprint in some substance.
I asked for cleaning in the morning, but returned after 2pm and it had not been done. They had come later, but we had come back to rest.
It was cleaned the next day. We love New Orleans, but this might be the last stay at Homewood.

Hotel is located close to French Quarters
The room was not ready when we arrived - towels were missing, linens were missing and we could not get missing items from receptions because there was none in stock!! Breakfast was not impressive at all...

La ubicación estaba muy bien.
No limpian los cuartos diario tienes que pedir que te lo limpien y las dos veces que lo pedimos no lo hicieron. Al buffet le faltaban opciones. El señor de las maletas no tenía una buena actitud.
