Reception was outstanding : nice, clear, helpful If you like to walk or bike by the sea this a place for you. The hotel is lending bikes. The spa was a really nice experience Wonderful massage experience too

The evening dinner is good but a bit expensive (Menu & A la carte). (Ex Menu = 64€/p) I suggest that they add a selection of less sophisticated and less expensive dishes for those wishing to eat a hot meal at the hotel and not necessarily looking for a gourmet pricey dish :)

Spa and pools down stairs with amazing massage! Room was spacious and nice balcony.

Even though pools are included, still need 5 euro for required cap / slippers.

To many e-mails on beforehand, that the reception opened at 16:00, to check-in electronically, to pay on beforehand. Remember: The reception is a service instrument for the guests. The guests are not a service instrument for the reception

The rooms were very small. The "secret" code provided to the room was very easy to guess. I'd expect to use something random.

A small positive point was that the location was near the beach.

It is not really a tourist hotel, at least not for foreigners. Receptionists hardly spoke any language other than English/Basque. Everything is indicated in Spanish/Basque. I had forgotten to bring two items of clothing from the room and had asked them to send them and I would then pay the cost. Their answer was no, you have to arrange that yourself, although I helped them with a parking space that was reserved for me and I was prepared to switch for another customer.

Olatz was extremely helpful and friendly. Really went out of her way to look after us. The room was lovely so was the view from our balcony. We also had a very nice breakfast before we started our journey home.

Nothing not to like

I was very happy staying at this hotel. I could of stayed a whole month.

The only thing which seemed to be lacking was the transport options to/from the town/station. Apparently there are only two taxi cabs in the town.

The hotel was really great overall, wonderful rooms and really clean. The restaurant and bar are also pretty good and the staff was really nice.

The spa is not good at all. It’s really cold. The first time we went, I got ill. We decided to give it a second try, and we ended up in the hospital with my boyfriend. It’s not the best spa I’ve ever been but getting ill every time you go… better to get only the room.

off tourist season, so restaurant opens only at 8pm .... and have to wait for dinner. However food was excellent!
