Das Restaurant war jederzeit offen. Das Essen schmeckte vorzüglich. Alles blitzsauber. Die Betten sehr komfortabel und bequem.Das Personal sehr freunlich und hilfsbereit. Die tibetische Gastgeberfamilie sehr sympathisch. Die Lage ausgezeichnet, hoch über der Stadt, sehr ruhig und im Grünen.

everything was good. the host was friendly and they offer yummy food and not too expensive. the room was clean with wifi. the monastery is just a 5 min walk from the guesthouse. to be honest to me it’s not a quiet place. actually it was a bit noisy due to plans flying over the area and noises from the road and village. but I am used to true stillness, so that’s why I felt like this. thank you for the stay! I anyways would definitely recommend the place

I was happy to stay in Green Mandala Inn once again. Everyone is very kind and makes you feel like home. Our room was very comfortable, clean, spacious, with hot water, internet, everything working well. Food is great too! Also maybe the best view over Kathmandu. Can't wait to come back!

It's a quiet place with beautiful views, above the city dust. Also you can hike to many places right from there.

Wonderful and lovely family! The room conditions and the experiences with the permanently staying guests felt like a thorn, that kept me away from enjoying it fully (even in the short time there, because I was usually out of there from morning 6 to evening 8/9 pm).

The room I was given for 2 weeks was very dark and in a not well-kept condition. For such a price it’s not convenient. For a lower price I would understand and adapt. It was the most expensive, farthest from the center and least quality stay I had in Kathmandu during 1 month of staying in 3 different places. Besides this it’s inappropriate in my opinion what the monk, who’s permanently living there, is doing with the western tourists by calling his room a retreat center and offering meditation classes for 2.500 rps, which he tells you only after sitting inside with a tea in your hands (we went there before in order to ask what we have to know about the mediation, what we need and if it’s on donation base, there he didn’t tell us). Otherwise there might be some other permanent guests, who feel like home and behave so, in a quite noisy and reckless way. Unfortunately without the owners telling them anything or trying to keep a pleasant atmosphere for everyone at anytime.

I love the place and people here are amazing! Will be happy to visit again any time!

Everything was great. I liked the location near Kopan and other monasteries. It really feels like you are away from the commotion of the city yet it’s an easy walk to Boudanath. Staff were very courteous, and went beyond expectations even doing my laundry last minute in a hurry. Food is available in the restaurant and i especially loved the Thali and muffins

The staff was absolutely amazing. It was close to the Kopan Monastery, ideal for a calm environment far from the city. Food was amazing. Loved the experience.

The overall stay was totally comfortable, staff members were so polite, location is so perfect to watch out the best scenarios of Kathmandu Valley, the room was completely neat and clean. Everything was wonderful to stay at this hotel. Loved it!😇❣

I felt really comfortable at Green Mandala Inn. The rooms were very spacious, spotless clean and had a comfortable bed, also a closet was provided to store clothes. There were to spacious terraces to hang out with a super nice view over Kathmandu. The staff was amazing and very helpful and the homemade food was delicious. The guesthouse is close to some Monasteries and the vibe of the area is very relaxed and calm. A hiden gem, away from the buzz of the city.

The road to hotel is off road/grabel and access road to hotel is very narrow.
