I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was great. The room was perfect for me. The location was really nice and the convenience for the gym, a barber shop and food choices was really nice. I would stay here again.

Nicely decorated rooms and one of the few hostals with tea and coffee & biscuits and a kettle. Good location with only a 5 minute walk round to Plaza Santa Ana with its selection of bars and restaurants and only 10 mins from the Puerto del Sol. Its about a 20 minute walk to Atocha railway station but the local metro at Anton Martin is only a couple of stops from Atocha.

It is located in a great area in the city center where you have access to many shops and convenience stores and the rooms are rather clean.

The walls between the rooms are extremely thin and you feel like there is nothing in between, it was annoying to hear everything from the room next to us so if that is important then you might consider looking for some other places to stay.

confused when you first time come

The person who welcomed us at first was nice and they kept our luggage until we could check in.

We found bugs in the room and the bed just as we came in (see picture). The person in charge was unapologetic and defensive. We decided to leave and the person at the reception said we would get our money back if we claim through Booking. We did, but then the receptionist refused to answer their calls, pretending not to speak English when she spoke English to us. Unacceptable and dishonest, as we didn’t even used the room and accepted to leave quietly in front of the other customers. Needless to say, nobody answered the messages I sent as well.

Shower was good, a little slippery. Wifi worked perfect, there was a kettle and a fridge. Location is good.

Biggest problem is the cardboard walls: some neighbor (probably who is constantly living in the building) knocked agressivly to our door because we put a video on the phone at 11pm... This is not relaxing at all. Another problem was a room itself - it feels claustrophobic: the small window faces the toilet of the neighbors, the room was small and stuffy.

Friendly staff, provided iron quickly, provided nice cot for my son, overnight front desk, there is a bidet in the room toilet which is much appreciated by an Arab guest😃

Nothing really

Location is excellent. Secure to walk at night. Room comfortable and bathroom cleaned.

Location, very close to city center, most of the things are reachable by foot, also the main train station. Enough for a 2-day trip. Price. For this price it was nothing special but totally enough for our purpose.

It smelled extremely of chlorine everywhere which should mean that it was cleaned but it could be cleaner. Windows to the inner courtyard which was loud and window to window to the opposite room.
