Set in stunning Bergamo, this property has all you will need for an Italian stay. We travelled easily from here for day trips to Varenna and Milan. Eliana is a lovely host and we adored the apartment.

This is a very comfortable efficient apartment with plenty of room, light, and fresh air. Eliana is a friendly and helpful host. Please note that a person needs to be in good physical condition to handle the mountainous terrain above and below the apartment. It is also on the third floor. Not a problem if you're strong.

This cosy apartment was beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. The owner met us and gave us excellent information to help us find our way around Bergamo. Would definitely recommend it to anyone considering staying in this beautiful city.

Location was convenient to local transportation, local stores, and located just outside of the old city. Neighborhood was clean, safe and quaint. Apartment was very clean and well appointed with all the amenities one would need.; lots of historical charm. Eliana and her sister Simona were very accommodating and always accessible. Process to reserve and pay was very simple. Looking forward to staying at this property during my next trip to Bergamo.

We have just returned from a 5 day Easter stay in this lovely apartment. Spotlessly clean, everything is as described. Fantastic shower! Sound proof windows and heavy wooden shutters cut out all street noise so sleeping was never an issue. Very well located. Eliana and Simone even provided everything we needed for breakfast and snacks...including bread,milk, butter, jam, biscuits, etc. Very much appreciated and totally unexpected! We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Location is fantastic, between the old citta alta and modern town. All the rooms are facing a little cobble street so car sounds can be a bit loader on cobble stones. (The windows are double glazed). Its very comfortable, very well prepared accommodation. It is obvious there is a lot of love and care here. Very frequent bus service nearby (100 metres) that zips you around towns (upper and lower). Get a multi-day ticket. No car needed unless you are travelling outside of town. Great local bars in tiny plaza nearby (50 metres) for coffee, drinks, snack.

The place is lovely, super clean, very well furnished. Even better than in pictures! You have plenty of space both in the living/kitchen room and in the bedroom. Also the bathroom was wonderful, and the shower is huge! So comfortable! Eliana was a perfect host, she was able to answer any question and totally helpful during our stay! The building and the street are very quiet and charming. Easy parking, plenty of nice coffee bar and restaurants near the house! I would definitely recommend this place!

Rymlig och väldigt fin nyrenoverad lägenhet i gammal byggnad vid lugn stenbelagd gata med bra läge nära både bergbanan till Citta alta och busshållplatsen. Rent och fräscht. Museum Carrara låg i bortre änden av samma gata och var väl värt att besöka. Mycket trevlig värdinna som svarade snabbt på mail och även lämnade bra tips på restauranger mm. Kan rekommenderas.

Having stayed in numerous holiday apartments over the last 26+ years I would rate the owner in the top 3 for her attention to detail and total desire to make your stay memorable for all the right reasons. Met us at the appointed time and location with a smile and genuine desire to assist. Showed us around the apartment which was as per the pictures. She provided breakfast for the duration of our stay. Eliana spent time with us outlining what was in the immediate area by way of cafes, bars and restaurants. She even organized parking (paid) for us. Rang us later to see if she could assist us and to ensure we were settled in comfortably. The area the apartment is in is very safe and we had no issue going out after 9pm for meals. Eliana suggested that we might enjoy a visit to the old Bergamo township. This visit was the highlight of our stay. The old township is a very comfortable an picturesque walk of some 20 minutes. Really is a beautiful place with the streets lined with medieval buildings. You could and should spend half a day wandering around the street of the old town. Within five minutes walk from the apartment there are half a dozen cafes,bars and restaurants and a small store where the lovely lady sells all the basic necessities. It would be a mistake not to take the chance of staying in this apartment. Highly recommend.

sollte es kühl sein, hält man sich in dieser wohnung sicher gerne auf. bei unserem aufenthalt stieg die zimmertemperatur in einer woche von 27 grad auf 30 grad. beim öffnen der fenster in der nacht hallte der krach der motorroller etc. brutal ins zimmer-bis 3uhr morgens und dann wieder ab 6 uhr.

Beautifully renovated and very comfortable. Very good location close to the Citta Alta. The owner could not have been more helpful or attentive.

Très bon séjour à Bergame où nous avons été accueillies chaleureusement par Eliana à l'aéroport. L'appartement , dans cet immeuble respirant l'histoire est spacieux et rénové avec beaucoup de goût; bon équipement général, mention spéciale pour la douche de bonne dimension à l'italienne(évidemment). Nous le recommandons sans problème.

My wife and I stayed here for the last two nights of our Italy honeymoon. Eliana is a fantastic host and took great care of us. She met us outside the apartment, took us up to it and gave us a great detailed walk through. The apartment is nicely redone and comfy and is in an amazing old building situated in an old part of Bergamo. The location itself is fantastic for walking to the upper Bergamo section on the hill. Great food nearby. We really loved our stay here and highly recommend for a stay in Bergamo. We would love to make it back there. Thanks Eliana!!

What an amazing holiday! We made friends with Eliana long before we met her at the airport. She is a wonderful person and so very kind. She made sure we were comfortable in the apartment before she left us showing us how everything worked and even making sure there were provisions in the fridge for breakfast and a drink. The apartment is spacious, airy and spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed ensured we met every day refreshed especially after enjoying the very unique showering experience. As the apartment is in a part of Bergarmo which is predominantly a residential area, we quickly found ourselves emersed in the Italian culture and traditions. Especially the pavement cafe at the end of the street. The locals are really friendly and the shops are a delight, fresh bread, cheese, pasta, ham and veg all within a 2 minute walk making it easy to make full use of the plentiful amenities. Alternatively just a short walk away is the old town ..... Don't want to spoil it for you but try La Tanya or Trattoris Rapietta for a truly memorable rustic Italian dining experience. Centrally situated for visiting some lovely places, we went to Milan on the train (40 mins) Lake Iseo (45 mins) and Verona (1 hr 10 mins) all very different but equally as lovely. In summary a fantastic apartment in an amazing location with wonderful owners.

We stayed a long weekend at Elena's March 9th - 13th. The weather was pretty good and spring was in the air. Coming from Norway this was like jumping a month and a half forward in time to late April/May, so for us it was quite enjoyable :-) The apartment was situated in a nice and relatively quiet part of the lower town, just a couple of minutes walk away from the gates to the upper town (the only thing making noise was the traffic driving on the brick-paved road outside. It's a very narrow road and there is not a lot of traffic, but we slept with the window closed, since we woke up the first night when cars passed by ). Elena marked out the places to see in Bergamo on the local map, and we used this to get around. From the apartment it takes about 15 minutes to walk into the upper town, a nice area with a great view and several streets with restaurants, shops and sights to see. Walking down-town took about 20 minutes to get to a lot of shopping streets. Both upper and lower town had lots of shopping options, but we found it to be more in lower town, and also more modern kinds of shops, like interior design, electronics etc. About 3 minutes walk from the apartment you will find a small grocery store, where you can buy some basic groceries, or you can walk 10-12 minutes for a huge supermarket. A lot of the stores do not take plastic, so 5 minutes down the road, past the small grocery store you will find an ATM where you can make withdrawals. The apartment itself was very nice. It was clean, cozy and had a good standard. The shower was nice, with a nice, large shower head and the bathroom was spacious (and equipped with a hair-dryer). The kitchen had all the necessities and Elena also offered to use coffee etc that was there. The bedroom was quite large with more than enough space for storage and the bed was big and comfy. We found Elena to be very friendly and accommodating, she met us at the agreed upon time on arrival at the apartment, she was helpful with fixing parking for our rental and she messaged us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. All in all, a very good stay, we are very happy and would glady stay there another time. Thumbs up :-)

The apartment is situated 5 mins walk to the Sant Agostino Gates of the upper town, 10 minute walk to the lower town funicular station and 20-25 minute walk to the Bergamo train/bus station but it is also close enough to the airport bus route (50 minute train journey to Milan costs EUR5.50 and 40 minute journey to Lake Como - Lecco) What made the apartment a great location was that it was close enough to walk to either the upper or lower town areas and close to supermarkets / bakeries etc. The apartment is decorated tastefully and has a comfortable bed and a good shower. We went without any insect repellent and got bitten quite a lot so be sure to take plug-ins / sprays etc but this was our fault and not the apartment's. Good WIFI connection means you can stay in touch with emails etc. Would definitely consider staying here again next time we are in the area.

We were given a warm welcome by our host Eliana. She gave us some great local advice and travel information to make our stay even better The apartment is in a good location between the old and newer part of the city, walking distance to the furnicular and has a bars, cafés and shops close by. The apartment has high quality modern conveniences, like the fully stocked and equipped kitchen, colour therapy lighting in the bathroom and wifi. However, also has the old world charm with original wall murals , lofty high ceilings with wooden beams and the authentic character of the building. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to others.

The apartment is located in an old house not far from the Upper Town, in the historic center of Bergamo. Modern, with great taste decorated interiors, well combines with elements of antiquity. Through the high windows you can admiring a blue sky and enjoy a sound of ringing an Italian bells. A hostess of apartment are very welcoming people. To all questions or problems concerning your staying, they are friendly and always try to solve them. You will make a good decision if you choose this apartment. Vsevolod

Really really good apartment in nice house. Very easy to get to any place in the city. It is a bit noisy because of paving stone road but this is the only minus you can find. Eliana is very pleasant and was extremely helpful. Highly recommend!
