Spacious, lovely apartment with large terrace facing a park and with see view. Gated and very secure. The basement parking was so convenient. The kitchen has everything needed for the stay. The owner left milk, water, biscuits, washing and dishwasher tablets... We loved the location just a short walk to the beach. Lovely buildings, supermarkets nearby. Bus and trum stops to the city centre nearby. We ended at a singing and flamenco siesta in the small place around the corner. There is an exceptional restaurant called Ajonegro a short walking distance.

We had problem with the shower. The first day we arrived it was fine. The following four days the boiler did not work. We had warmish, cold showers, no showers. Javier was not in the city and Nuria was away too. He tried to sort it out distantly. It transpired the boiler was faulty and the replacement for it arrived the day we were leaving. There are open to the weather air vents on the kitchen door. As it was January it was very cold in the kitchen. Javier explained to me that those were gas certificate requirements in Spain. There was no gas heating or appliances in the apartment. He told me I can block them. I blocked them using bin bag pieces and sticking plaster. I think that a better solution should be in place. Javier apologied for the inconvenience experienced and offered us free stay in the apartment next autumn/spring. I think that a welcome pack with info about the appliances, transport links, shops and cafés/restaurants etc will enhance the customer experience.

Nice, clean and well equipped apartment. The host was very attentive and helpful. We really appreciated the travel cot and high chair for our baby. There is a playground across the street - ideal for small kids. The view from the terrace is amazing, especially during sunrise.

It was a bit a walk to get to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. I'm a light sleeper and sometimes I was woken up by loud motorcycles speeding by. The rest of the family slept right through it.

Renting Canaima Alicante was nothing but a pleasure, from communication with the host, Javier, to spending our 6 days vacation there. The apartment is perfect; nice, clean, well equipped and with nice walking distance to the spectacular San Juan Beach which is just beautiful, calm and clean. It had everything we needed, and the balcony is perfect spending a quiet evening and enjoying the view. The area is calm and feel safe and there is just a short walking distance to the tram station for at trip to the centre of Alicante. Maybe not the place to stay if looking for intense nightlife but perfect for a relaxed holiday, with easy access to public transport to other parts of the Alicante region. We really enjoyed it and the host Javier is helpful, serviceminded and always ready to help if necessary. Thanks a lot!

This apartment was exceptional, it had everything you needed for self catering, even had shampoos and body wash in each bathroom, air conditioning was excellent and so was the WI-FI. Gorgeous views of the sea, very quiet location, take a ten minute walk and you have, restaurants, bars, beach, trams and bus, fantastic location. Javier was an amazing host, his wife met us on arrival and showed us the apartment and how everything worked. During our stay Javier advised us on restaurants, tram times and places to visit. We will definitely be visiting again. The beach is very clean and the sea is crystal clear. Thank you for an amazing stay!!!!

Toiletries, water, milk, coffee pods, dishwasher tablets and detergent were provided. I thought this was a lovely touch. The cooking facilities were very good which meant we didn't have to eat out every evening. There is a decent supermarket within 10 mins walk. The local beach is beautiful and well maintained and boasts a long promenade.

Apart from the supermarket, there were very few shops nearby.

20 mins from centre Alicante but 22 bus is good and direct

The contact with the owner was excellent, he was very flexible despite the last-minute reservation. Lots of nice tips provided. The apartment couldn't be better located, so close to the beach but also not far from the calas, tram stop next door, and yet very quiet and calm area. The apartment had so much light and fantastic views from inside as well as the big terrasse. It was really well equipped too, with small touches like coffee and milk, and pastries to get started and to feel welcome.

We love the fact that we had a garage for the car. Lovely view , nice terrace and clean space.

Extra towels would have been nice apart from that we loved our stay.

The apartment itself was lovely. We had every possible convenience and all the furnishings and equipment were first class. Every room was spotlessly clean and there were all the necessary materials to maintain this standard. The terrace was big and well furnished with great views of the sea and the surrounding area. We used the pool every day and our seven year old granddaughter was in Heaven having this feature on the doorstep. It was about a ten minute walk to a nice beach and there were a few bars and restaurants very close, with many others perhaps fifteen minutes walk away. Trams and buses onto Alicante and further afield were also a very short walk away. The owner, Javier, could not have been more helpful. He messaged us in advance of our arrival to check our preferences in coffee and milk which were there on arrival. He also ensured we were met and had some help in familiarising ourselves with the apartment and the surrounding area. He booked a taxi for us back to the airport which arrived at exactly the time requested.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property at all. My wife sustained a sprained ankle at the beginning of the holiday which was a problem as most of the shops and bars were too far for her to walk. However, we still managed to get to a few very close restaurants which she managed to hobble to.
