The location was central. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. The bathroom was modern and clean.

The sofa-bed was very uncomfortable. The sheet on the main bed was rough. The wardrobe was broken. In general we felt the cleaning level in the appartment and building was lacking. No bedding was provided for the sofa bed. The three different parking instructions were contradictory (email, webpage, sign in room). Host unresponsive to messages sent via booking.com.

Central location, really convenient to have a full kitchen and a sofa etc

Comfort was a bit lacking - sofa and bed were both fairly hard. The furniture generally was very tired.

The bed was so creaky that every time anyone moved it made a noise and woke us up! Definitely needs a mattress change and sorting out!

the location was good, close to where we needed to go & close to the city centre. It had the basic necessities. It’s quite a good space, good little bathroom

The window was open & it’s one of the ones you have to push up. The lock on it was broken so I had to struggle hard to push it up, get my sister to hold it in place and then use a knife to force the latch in to place so it didn’t fall back down. The noises outside are really loud at night when it’s down as it was the first night of our stay. So we didn’t get a good nights sleep There was only a small amount of paper towels left of the roll. There were only 3 toilet rolls, the settee was filthy, the bed was solid. The sponge in the kitchen was dirty, the mugs were dirty. The place just needed a deep clean really.

The flat itself is very nice and quite central so it was very easy to walk into the town centre.

A bit noisy in the evening from the pub below. I was unable to connect to the wifi because most of the time it wasn't available and when it was, it was impossible to connect to it.

The place needs a good clean , no work space in kitchen, carpet damage, wardrobe damage, tap loose in bathroom, toilet seat damaged, no seating area for food or should I say adequate , parking poor , bed is hard ! , bathroom window dodgy , I did explain this all the the host got no response so here you go !

The cleanliness was extremely poor. The limited parking advertised is incorrect. There is NO parking at this property. The apartment is looking very tired and in need of repair as well as a deep clean. Poor quality for the price. Disappointing

we had to put the dishwasher on because the smell that was coming from it was disgusting and on the cupboard handle was old food and hairs left in the sink in the bathroom and a bottle teat left in the dishwasher and we don’t have a baby.

Could do with a bit of a deep clean. We reserved parking but when we arrived the parking spaces had been rented someone else and received no replies from the host after she told us they’d been given to someone else.

Enjoyed our stay. Central to the city.

Lots of noise from the street until early hours. No parking on site. Someone used our intercom at 11.30pm asking to get into the apartments. Said they did not have a phone number. Disturbed us at the time as we were asleep.

Horrible smell on entering entry/stairwell. Dirty bathroom that had definitely been used prior to our arrival. I had to clean the bathroom. The most uncomfortable hard bed I have ever slept in. Not sure bedding was clean as it look a bit marked. Sofa was disgustingly dirty with what looked like a dirty blanket thrown over it. Better instructions and map needed to find rooms. Tried to call and email manager with no reply.

Where shall I start?? The mattress on the bed was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on the floor. My daughter has ME and I had to fold up the duvet to make the bed more comfortable for her. There was a small blanket in the cupboard she used and I had to use my coat! The apartment was dirty - stains on the sofa bed so it couldn’t be used. Hairs in the shower. Dirty fridge and freezer was completely frozen. Dirty light switches and door handles. Carpet was threadbare in places. When I tried to call the host she never answered my calls all day. I phoned booking.com to say we couldn’t stay the second night as my daughter was in pain and we hadn’t slept they couldn’t get hold of the host either, even though they tried to call and email. I eventually got hold of the host and she informed me that she had not had any missed calls or emails from booking.com - so who is lying here?? She said she would sort out the refund as we could not stay at the apartment for the second night due to health reasons. I have constantly tried to call the host and left loads of messages asking her to call me back and she is ignoring me. This is so unprofessional and I feel like I have been scammed by this person. I would not recommend you stay at these apartments because if there are any problems she will ignore you. I have never experienced anything like this ever before. I had to pay £65 for a room at the Travelodge because the bed was so bad and I am now fighting to get my money back. I have phoned and complained to booking.com but they said that they can’t help it is up to the host, which is not very good when they are advertising St Benedict’s apartments on their site. Please be warned that they are not good hosts and will take your money and then ignore you if you have any problems.

I did not receive an email 24 hrs before arrival expianing the process for the keys, to collect and check out! I had to prompt the celner several times. No response relating to the remote for the TV - flat batteries.
