Best breakfast we had in a while in Bolivia. Friendly staff, beautiful room with a great view. Nice location right next to the harbor so you don’t have to walk all the way up with a heavy backpack.

lovely comfortable room with an excellent view of the harbour. breakfast was also very good.

the water didn’t go hot in the shower, and there was never any host around so we couldn’t get the wifi code or ask any questions

- great terrace overlooking the harbour - location next to harbour means you don’t have to carry bags up the hill, but does mean you have to walk uphill to the main restaurants - large size room and comfortable bed - good sized breakfast

- the shower didn’t really work properly with the shower head repeatedly breaking - the room gets cold and the heater isn’t very warm

Beautiful room with amazing view on the lake. Quiet place with very kind staff. Literally 20m from the Puerto sure. Heating in the room, and hot shower. Very good breakfast and you can have aslo dinner.

A bit expensive but on this island and v'with this view, I recommand it

This hostel is perfectly located right next to the port and so it’s great if you are bringing a big bag to the island. The staff were extremely friendly and kind and allowed us (and our friends) to store our luggage in the restaurant whilst we went for a hike. They also checked in with us in the evening to make sure we got to the hostel okay after the hike which was very nice. The room was spacious and very clean. The views from the room were spectacular both in the day and at night (amazing star gazing).

The wifi was quite weak and the shower was very cold! Also they do not take card and there are no ATMs on the island so make sure to bring enough bolivianos or US dollars with you.

if you are bringing a lot of luggage to the island.. this is a good location as it is right near the boat dock. room was a nice size and clean. big bed with comfortable bedding. good breakfast. nice view.

hot water in the shower was intermittent at best. we were given the WiFi network and password for the restaurant next door which was spotty and did not reach our room. there was a network we saw later on for the actual hotel and when we reached out via WhatsApp for the password they saw the request and did not respond (maybe it was not a real network but a response would have been nice). we ended up staying 2 nights and asked for more toilet paper after running out and we’re refused.. that was a new one. good location to the boat dock but a very steep walk up/ down to town for restaurants, etc. overall it was a fine place to stay but there are a lot of options and for the price, I would have expected a bit better service. ps… not specific to this hotel but there is a let’s call them “boat mafia” on the island.. they will lie through their teeth about what is available via public boats (trying to sell private boats for egregious prices) and will try to separate you from your money however possible. it’s a real shame because outside of that it is a very nice, peaceful place to visit!

Location is right by the port, convenient for not going up with luggage. Sunrise.by the port is outstanding. Staff was pretty helpful and friendly.

Nice and close to the port so don't have to carry bags far up the steep hill from the boat. Breakfast excellent, staff always helpful and available.

We couldnt get the hot water working (electric heater type). We are familiar with those type of shower heaters having had them in houses of our own here in Bolivia so it wasnt a case not knowing how to use them and I think that maybe the fuse had blown for it as I couldnt hear it engage. We didnt ask for help though as were leaving same day and I think they would have tried to fix if we had so dont let this put you off.

Convenient location, nice view, the room is spacious and clean

We stayed for one night on the island and hostal phaxsi in the port of yumani was so peaceful and nice! Totally recommendable! Not only because of the nice view in the lake but also the cleaniness as well as the amazing breakfasr! Totally worth it!

The location is perfect and the room has perfect sunset and sunrise view.
