Good location and good view. Breakfast was nice and made there, it all tasted “homemade”.
The views were very nice from our balcony. There were two “guest kitchens” which I found a very good idea.
Our bathroom was a bit too small and the floor would get wet when having a shower… it could be a good idea to chance the small bathtub for a shower.

Litet sjarmerende familje hotell med perfekt beliggenhet i Balestrand. Fine rom med nydelig utsikt.

Älteres, sehr gut gepflegtes Hotel. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Wir waren im zweiten Stock des Holzhauses mit wunderschönem Blick auf Städtchen und Bucht/Fjord. Unser Zimmer war mit Bad und ausreichend groß und hatte eine schöne Holzveranda. Sehr sauber. Das Hotel verfügt über zwei Gemeinschaftsküchen, die von den Gästen genutzt werden können sowie über einen großzügigen Aufenthaltsbereich mit sehr schönem Ausblick. Und es gibt eine Waschmaschine und Trocknungsmöglichkeiten. Die Zimmer im neueren Anbau sind alle zum Meer ausgerichtet. Sehr ruhig. Gutes landestypisches Frühstück.

Charming hotel in great location in Balestrand. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Short walk to harbor, ferry stop, dining and shopping, Balestrand is wonderful village with incredible scenery. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Highly recommended.

Great location, beautiful view, friendly & helpful staff.
There was no elevator which made it more difficult for my mom to get around. The gentleman at reception was really nice and gave us a room on the first floor which helped. Also, we could drive to a side door to avoid the stairs which also helped.

Sentralt beliggende og greit rimelig hotel. Er x tidligere leirskole. Frokosten var litt kjedelig, med det identiske utvalget fra dag til dag. Men god frokost. Så skal absolutt ikke klage. Svært imøtekommende resepsjonist. Stedet har ikke sjenkebevilling men kort vei til lokale spisesteder. Kommer gjerne tilbake

The hotel is reasonably priced compared to other similar hotels in Balestrand. The room was spacious and with a great view. The breakfast buffet was not large, but with sufficient selection.
The shower is separated only by curtain no other barrier, leaving most of the floor wet. In addition there was no designated bath mat, just used one of the towels.
The hotel is located uphill - just something to consider. The warm foods in the breakfast buffet were not ready at the beginning of service time, relevant if you're catching an early ferry.

Superb views of the Fjorde and Mountains . This beautiful village is steeped in history and cultural experiences.
The hallways and lobbies are decorated with beautiful local photos taken throughout the year which clearly depicts the change of seasons and the beauty of nature .
Certainly well worth staying at the Kringsjå Hotel .

Nice big corner room with a View balcony. Quiet hotel a little above the village. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

The reception was just superb, we haven't met such a friendly and welcoming hotel staff members in a while! I found the shabby chic of the hotel really charming, and all the perks (a game room, guest kitchens, entertainment area) made us feel like at home :) The view requires a separate mention, it's just stunning.
Perhaps, a second set of pillows would be a nice add-on. This is just a suggestion for a small improvement :)
