A very efficient and friendly super host. I loved the manner in which she presented the property and then disappeared until needed. The property is situated against a running river and beautiful, direct views of the Swellendam mountains.

The host Melani is awesome and her spot is awesome!

Our room was super modern and comfortable. It was pristine and had the best shower/bathroom. Within walking distance to restaurants and town, the location was perfect and view of the mountains even better.

Good Melani, Sorry for only responding now. We really wished we could have stayed longer. The Guest House was perfect in every way. The peace and tranquility is exactly what we needed. We did not find fault with anything and will definitely be back, Thank you once again.

We have stayed at this property several times and have always found it extremely comfortable and convenient. It is lovely and quiet and great outlook . The hostess is always charming and entertaining as are her two beautiful Great Danes

Nothing. What you need to know is that you have to prepare your own breakfast from the fridge, which is refilled every day, in the very well equipped kitchen

Fabulous room. Stunning location. Pool was lovely with plenty of loungers and pool towels. Beautifully kept gardens and Melani couldn't of been more helpful. Even with the power out she supplied us with fresh coffee and when we had an issue with an electrical plug she was on hand with a range of screwdrivers. Melani also recommended a restaurant and booked us a table - another fabulous meal and the staff where very attentive.

super clean, well taken care off property with kind staff. pool is nice and the location is perfect within walking distance to a street full off restaurants. they give you a schedule beforehand about the loadshedding times but they have a generator so wifi, lights and hot water always works.

the bathroom somehow stays completely wet after showering, no matter what you do, after a few hours the mirror was still completely foggy and wet and the next morning the bathroom still hadn’t dried. but this is a minor thing that i guess they can’t fix.

One of the best places we stayed through our journey to western cape. Apartmant was spacious and very nice. There were only 3 apartments so it was very relaxed and secluded atmosphere. Pool area was fantastic and we relaxed there most of our time. There was beautiful mountain wiev from the pool area. The host was super nice and helpful. It is a fantastic place to charge the batteries when travelling through garden route. I totally recommend to stay there 2 nights because it is so nice to chill at the pool area.

Nice large areas with a great pool lots of sunbeds and a lovely room with kitchenette and bathroom. Clean, modern and compfy. Melani is a great host with lovely recommendations and she even made a restaurant booking for us.

As it said in the description, some stuff for breakfast was provided in the fridge. You can bring your own stuff as well and prepare your breakfast or go to the small cafes close by.

stunning location. mountains towering above you. beautiful landscaped gardens with shared modern pool steps from your door. Room was large with self catering facilities. very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. owner very helpful and on site. The 2 most friendly Great Danes were a bonus too

It's a shame that the breakfast is self-cook. This is made perfectly clear in the description so we knew what to expect, but If they could find a way to supply a served breakfast it would make this place 100% perfect.

Beautiful place with a spacious room and stunning views overlooking the mountain and river. The pool was a favourite since it was a hot and humid day, and very pleasing to the eye with a spectacular view. We enjoyed our stay and Melanie (our host) was phenomenal. Due to loadshedding the next morning, she offered to bring us coffee or tea, and assisted with any and everything we needed. Thank you for hosting us. We hope to return on future travels.
