Everything about the Pink Door was incredible. The location, the home, everything! We loved the front deck and spent a lot of time out there, from morning coffee to evening sunset. Beautiful home. We highly recommend

This beachfront home is updated and extremely clean!
The Oceanview and Evening Sunsets are priceless and not to mention listening to the early morning and late night waves made our own live version of a "sound machine".
The whole house was spotless! Both bathrooms come with Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Soap and Hand Soap, beds were very comfortable beds with very "White" and clean linen which is always a "Plus" and I almost forgot to mention about Washer & Dryer, they even included laundry soap for us to use. The house comes with plenty of bathroom towels and beach towels and enough beach toys for us to use.
Can't recommend this rental enough and the best recommendation is the next booking, which is already completed.

Beautiful house, exactly as pictured. Plenty of space for my family and I. If it wasn’t raining half the time we would have enjoyed the back yard more, it’s a wonderful relaxing area to enjoy the sound of the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great place to stay and a stellar location! Our family all enjoyed the comfortable accommodations. The views and beach access were a real hit. This place is also well stocked for cooking and comes with lots of towels and beach toys. We would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was a great size for the ten of us to all fit comfortably. It was located within walking distance to restaurants and the pier, which provided some entertainment.
Early mornings spent on the deck watching the sun rise and people watching were the best.

We come to Oceanside every year and have stayed at this property a couple times. It is hands down the favorite. It’s the absolute perfect location, and wonderfully stocked. The kitchen wants for nothing. The beds are super comfy and the backyard is especially spacious; it’s lovely to sit in the back with the fire pit and listen to the waves. And it’s SO beautifully decorated. I just wish they provided beach chairs!

We loved this stay. We have been to Oceanside a few times before and this was by far the best location. The sand is soft and not loaded with rocks like the others and we were able to walk right out onto the beach without climbing down boulders. Our view was stunning. The host was easy to communicate with and alway responded quickly. The kitchen was well stocked and the AC units upstairs made the rooms really comfortable, even without central air. We cannot wait to go back!

We can not say thank you enough. What an unbelievable trip. Great locations. Great setup. Everything was available that we needed. It made for one unbelievable family trip. We hope we can come back again next year. It was so much fun! Great to people watch. So close to the beach. The back yard was nice if you wanted a break from the front area. Great property. There's a 1 way street between the house and the beach where everyone shows off their rides all day long. Great people watching spot. Great for the kids.

10 of us stayed at this location. 5 teens and 5 adults. We all fit comfortably and the teens approved of the location. I loved being in front of the beach. We enjoyed surfing (though many spots are black balled), we relaxed on the front porch watching the sunset, people watched, and played volleyball on the court that was right across from us. I made it a point to make sure we were there on a Thursday because the market night is so much fun. Great place! The only issue which is not a deal breaker is the tiny sinks in the bathroom. Very hard to wash your face. But I didn’t care much. The shower made up for it.

location is great for large family that just wants to partake in beach activities like surfing, boogie boarding, riding bikes etc. House is spacious! It was clean and all the necessary essentials were provided. We’re already planning our next stay at The Pink Door.

Our family of adults rented this house for a long birthday weekend. We found it to be comfortable and well equipped. The location can't be beat! It was lovely sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning and then watching the sun set with wine in the evening. You really can't get closer to the beach. The strand can get noisy with cars and people passing by but since we were there in October it was fine. We didn't use the backyard at all but it would definitely be a bonus during the hotter, busier summer months. The other pros: the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, serving platters and equipment. I did bring my own knives and a good large frying pan. The beds were comfortable and although the house is on the small size, it never felt cramped but rather was cozy. The cons: the bathroom sinks, as mentioned by others, are so small that they are difficult to use. I'd recommend more wash clothes be provided and for renters to bring face wipes. Also, one of the rooms had a luggage rack, which given there were no closets, shelves or hooks in any of the bedrooms, was very helpful. It would be nice to have at least one luggage rack in each room and for hooks to be added. These are minor things. We loved the house and would return in a heartbeat.

We had a family reunion at the Pink Door. Couldn't ask for a better location. Walk out the front door and onto the beach. We spent most of the time sitting on the front porch people watching. We were also entertained by all the amazing cars that passed by on the Strand. Great fun. There was 8 of us and had plenty of room. Hope to go back soon.

We had a great time staying at the pink door house in Oceanside. The beach house was immaculate and very spacious for a group of 10. The beach was beautiful and we had a great time. Will stay again.

The home was in beautiful condition, had a great location, air conditioned upstairs bedrooms and was well supplied with towels, dishes, sand toys, and even a kid pool for our toddler. We had a wonderful family vacation!
The only issues we had were that the downstairs was not air conditioned so we couldn't use the bedroom downstairs (we were there during a heat alert) and the flies were terrible, which may have been due to the weather. Unfortunately, we needed to leave doors open to cool the downstairs.

- No central AC, portable AC units in 3 of the 4 bedroom only. No AC downstairs, living room, or loft area.
- A LOT of bugs, gnats, ants in the house due to needing to keep doors and windows open for air circulation.
- A lot of car and pedestrian traffic on beach side due to busy holiday weekend as expected. Some homeless hang out on the beach benches right in front of the house.
- Only 2 bathrooms with tiny sinks
- No beach chairs as advertised in property listing

Great Beach House!!!
Property was exactly as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. Location was perfect, right on the beach. We enjoyed the fire pit, and back deck and yard. We spent enjoyable evenings sitting on the front deck watching the parade of interesting people on the Strand at sunset. Highly recommended for a family beach vacation.

Great location and wonderful home!
The house is steps away from the beach. There were cars driving by which was a concern with little ones but we managed. The house was very clean, backyard was a great space and fun for the kids, and location was awesome. We would definitely go back!

Perfect Place
Could not have asked for anything more for our family trip. There were 10 of us and the living and sleeping arrangements worked out great. Loved being right on the strand where you can people watch and meet all kinds of folks. Kids loved having the beach just steps away.

All about location
Couldn’t have a better spot on beach. Perfect weekend beach stay. Week stay would get messy if you had more than 4 guests. Very expensive I felt but I didn’t plan ahead so it was last thing avail. Bathrooms tiny no towel racks. They keep towels in upstairs bunk area ? Rooms cramped very minimal storage for clothes no drawers, rolling hanging units in each room. Owners only supply one roll of paper towels and limit your tp as well so bring your own? Pricey for what you get I think. On positive note; parking perfect. Large back deck perfect for yoga or mini work outs and slim front porch perfect for people watching. Great one time stay.

We had an amazing stay at The Pink Door! There were 9 adults and the house was the perfect size for our group. Lots of room, beautiful views, close to everything and the beds were all extremely comfortable! We can’t wait to return to paradise!

Amazing getaway!
We had an amazing stay at the Pink Door! The home was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable, and the home right in front of the beach. It is very easy to walk to Oceanside Pier from the home and many restaurants. The large backyard area was also a huge plus. We can’t say enough amazing things about our vacation!

Absolutely Perfect for our family…aged 3 months to 93…so first floor bedroom and bath were a must…excellent kitchen….excellent back yard for all our toys and bikes….comfy beds….very well appointed….but the best part of the house was the front porch!! Idyllic beach stay
When you walk in, your first thought is - wow! Looks like you stepped into a ritzy beach magazine. Gorgeously decorated in whites and blues, it seemlessly blends into the ocean just steps away.
We have been staying in Carlsbad/Oceanside every fall break for many, many years now, and this is hands-down the best location ever. The beach is right out the front door - and it’s a GOOD beach, not mostly rocks. We loved sitting on the porch to watch both sunrises and sunsets. Bonus points for ample parking space too!
The beds were all comfy- and there’s a lot of them! Towels were plentiful and kitchen was well stocked. It was nice not to have to pack boogie boards and sand toys- although they didn’t have any beach chairs. Bummer.
Space is at a premium and they’ve devoted it to beds. Only one living area inside, but the back yard is a great gathering space too. The bathrooms are laughably small. They’ve quite ingeniously used what look like airplane bathroom sinks, which isn’t a problem until you try washing your face in them. It’s like washing your face in a drinking fountain. But small price to pay for the rest of the accommodations.
My suggestion to the owners is to install some shelves in the bedrooms. There are no dressers or closets - I get it: no space. There are clothes racks to hang a few things, but really no place to put STUFF. A couple shelves on the wall would go a long way. It’s hard to keep a place tidy with nine people having to put most everything on the floor.
But all this was minor inconvenience. It really was a beautiful home and we’d be happy to stay there again. And again and again.

Childhood dream come true
My dad had always dreamed about renting a beach house with his children and grandchildren. Ever since he was a little boy when his mom took him to a friends Beachhouse he knew he wanted to do the same thing with his family one day. He rented this house for a week and enjoyed every single moment with his family. Perfect location, kid friendly house, and so much to do within walking distance. The house had everything we Needed and more. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful property / online pictures don’t do it justice!
Our stay at the pink door property was wonderful. The location cannot be beat.
Couple the location with the cleanliness and space of the open floor plan; beyond satisfied.
Before arrival, I was slightly concerned with space initially because we had 7 adults and 2 children in our group- however, upon arrival and throughout our week-long stay; it was a non-issue at all as the home is more spacious than the online images convey. Not once was there a time where we felt cramped or otherwise.
Outdoor living space is beyond compare. No other rental property in the area has the outdoor space this property has. The owner did a wonderful job in planning out the living spaces and flow and the fact there is a beautiful and well kept deck in front to view the beach (we lounged here mostly in am and evening) and then midday when the sun was at its full strength, we were either at the beach (literally 6 steps away) or in the very large outdoor space in back yard with 2 large lounge sofas/multiple lounge chairs/umbrellas/fire pit/bbq. A great time! Having these multiple outdoor lounge options allows guests to feel like they are not delegated to staying in one location as I saw other rental properties were. Kudos again to the thought the owner put into when renovating this home.
I cook a lot and we prepared most of our meals in their clean and well stocked kitchen. I suggest bringing your own knives as I always do at rental homes- (as the ones provided are very dull thus dangerous to use) aside from this one minor aspect and non-issue, everything was wonderful.
Our hosts and property management were beyond communicative and professional and helpful! i.e., Our fridge had issues one evening (kept intermittently raising temperature) and management was on it and brought a 2nd fridge to accommodate us so we wouldn’t lose our food and because my father needed to keep medication cold! Wow! Thank you Logan and Kim! The fridge coils were cleaned and then began working in am. This was above and beyond and we are very appreciative of the care and courtesy this management company has for their guests.
We will stay again next year.

Amazing Get Away
This was the most amazing place. Very clean, organized perfectly for 7 woman! The kitchen has just about everything you need! My friends and I would definitely recommend this house! The front porch is the best place each morning and each evening!

Amazing Pink Door
Pink door was amazing from the incredible beachfront to the amenities inside the property. There was no need to go anywhere else to see the sunset - it was incredible right from the living room and the front porch. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need in the kitchen, the bedrooms were spacious & comfortable & the views from the beach facing bedrooms were fantastic! We loved that we could park our van right out the back gate in a private spot. The only criticism I would have is that the bathroom sinks were so tiny. This modern place made for an incredibly relaxing vacay!
