The location was amazing. It was easy to walk to Waikiki or Ala Moana. While on the smaller side, we found that the apartment really was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The property was clean and well-maintained.The building is going through some renovations, but everything was communicated very clearly. Would recommend for one to two travelers!

We enjoyed our stay. The apt. is conveniently located. The shops, beach, and sport facilities are but a short walk away. Views from the lanai are extraordinary facing the mountains. The amenities provided for the apt., were quite adequate although the furnishings are somewhat dated. The owner should inspect and replace where necessary.(ex; bar stools). If you rent a car, ensure you have a sub/compact type as the ramps are narrow leading to the parking stall. If we come back to
O'ahu, we would be happy to rent this place again.

The property was clean and in an excellent location not to close to the hustle and bustle of the beach area but close enough if you just wanted to sit at the beach with out traveling to far to one of the many available beaches

From the warm welcome and communication with the property management to the stunning mountain views of this property, my husband and I were very happy with our stay. The location was ideal and the building and unit was perfect for our month long stay on Oahu.

we stayed at unit 2008 Canal House from February ti the end of March. We liked the quietness of the unit for us emergency vehicles are part of the ambience in Waikiki, this was not an issue. The location of this unit within the building works well with notice sound from outher units. The location of Canal House if great for us as everything we want is within easy walking distance or a quick bus ride. We do feel that some upgrading of furniture in the living-dinning area would in enhance any stay. The balcony table needs replacement. We did not expect to find beach chairs and an umbrella, which we used almost every day, even though we had to repair them with tape. We are coming back to 2008 for the reasons found in this review. For us this is our best location N and J

I did not want leave. My 5 month stay was like I was home. VERY clean and a fantastic view of the mountains with a breeze every day to rejuvenate. I will not stay anywhere else while in Oahu...

This place was just right for us to stay 6 weeks. It had all the required kitchen utensils to be able to cook at home. It didn't have an electric mixer or a coffee grinder, but the rest was all there. It even had a rice cooker! I now appreciate what they can do. It was not in the middle of all the Waikiki hustle and bustle (which we preferred), but it was still close enough to be able to go to the beach or walk to a cafe or restaurant. On the 20th floor, there was almost always a breeze coming through that was amazing to sleep at night with. During the day we mostly left the windows open, but there were a few that we had to turn on the A/C. We really liked that it seemed pretty secure. The access required chips to get into the elevators and garage. On the downside, the parking garage was extremely tight. It had ramps that were enclosed in concrete and very tight, barely able to fit one car through at a time. On top of that, there is very little room to turn a car to get on the ramps as you go up each level and also to get into the assigned parking space. We ended up scraping the car on the side of the ramp while trying to avoid an incoming car. The other downside is that it was next to a fire station, and there was constant sirens all through the day and night. Sometimes we were forced to close the windows to be able to sleep, but then had to use the A/C instead of the breezes. Overall, however, it was a perfect choice for us, and one we would consider again (perhaps next time we will rent a smartcar).

Overall it was a great apartment, but you should be careful with the cleaning supplies and the housekeeping. The vacuum wasn't working well, and some of the kitchen utensils were rusted and we couldn't use them.
But the coffee machine was out of service and we requested a new one, the day after we asked we got a new one. So thank you for the quick response. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the apartment has a great location.

This condo has breathtaking views on both ends. Very private lania and very peaceful building. All of the neighbors are very nice, and the building is very secure. The condo has an amazing kitchen and a lot of items for cooking like a rice cooker, casserole dishes, and authentic chop sticks. If your big into Asian cooking, this kitchen is perfect for you. Very close to many restaurants as well. The canal house just has a relaxing vibe to it and has a way of unwinding all of your stresses. Definitely my favorite building in Waikiki. The pool is a little chilly in the winter, but their sauna makes up for it.

Poor description to get in not updated. Bed was no good for us,sleeper sofa spoke to us every time you sat down, cleaning is a joke rusty knifes, very dusty in places, air conditioners very noisey. The price paid we could of done better. next year they wanted a 250% increase when other units in the building are renting for $2400.00 a month, and they want over $10,000.00 a month. the good side was not a bad view and was not as noisy as some can be. The building itself is in good condition but this unit is not worth what they are asking. Stayed the month of Feb. 2019
