We had the basement apartment. It is lovely and big. The bedrooms are clean and the kitchen has everything. It is near to Brynja- supposedly served the best soft serve ice cream in the world.

The property is clean and it seems just remodeled and it is new inside . Mattress is very comfortable.

The kitchen is too small, can’t do any cooking. Also, since it is just remodeled and it has the new pain smell . The lady that greet us without any smile , the attitude is not that friendly.

The location was great. The studio was spotless and perfect for our family’s stay.

Very nice guesthouse a bit outside of the city center (about 600m walking distance). Spacious rooms, good bathroom. The communication with the host was very efficient, she came very quickly to solve our request.

The kitchen has limited cutlery, had to request extra items. Also, the bed in the living room (sofa-bed) was not very comfortable.

Excellent location. Loved finding the ice cream store down the street. Very well equipped and comfortable.

Very clean and spacious room. In fact, the property is very clean, spacious and feeling very comfortable staying in it.

I traveled around the Ring Road and experienced six other places and this place was my second favorite stay in Iceland. First of all, I loved Akureyi and the location of this is perfect. I wish I had spent an extra night here. The studio apartment was really spacious, this would be really good for an extended stay. I did use the hot tub in the backyard which was a nice way to unwind after a day of driving. I liked having a parking space right next to the studio. I also liked how close it was to the Botanical Gardens, even though my legs were jelly from a day of hiking I still went over to explore and they were just beautiful.

I almost gave 9/10 because it had an odd smell. I think they knew, the windows were open when I arrived. There wasn't carpet anywhere so I have no idea what it could be... it almost smelled musty like a hamster cage. Honestly though, I got used to it and didn't care as the place was very clean.

Huge and spacious apartment. Beautiful art decorations. You can see the attention to detail in planning and the equipment in the apartment. We had a wonderful time! Forest Lagoon is only 5 minutes drive, and we had a great time there.

The location is great if you have a rented car - otherwise it is a little far from city center and the supermarket.

Liked the fact that there were a number of works of original art in the unit, nice size, good location, nice that there was a hot tub and outdoor eating area and convenient parking. At first, we were delighted by the unit.

When the shower was first used,the water would not easily drain and the apartment filled with the smell of sewage. This was very unpleasant, no one else in our party was able to shower, and we were forced to retreat to the bedroom and put towels under the door to block the odor, which lingered until the following morning. There was no answer at the number indicated to call for problems. By the time we left, the smell had cleared so the cleaning crew may not know that the shower has problems.

It was so roomy and we'll equiped relative to the other places we stayed while driving around Iceland

We could not get the heat to turn off. It was disgustingly hot inside so we opened windows until it got late and we were freezing. The main bedroom heat could shut off but the others wouldn't turn below 2. A user manual for the apartment would be very helpful

The apartment includes all facilities that you may need. Rósa, the owner, sent us a message with clear instructions.

The location is a little bit far from the city centre.
