Le confort de la chambre, la literie...cela me suffisait amplement.J'étais sur la cour, vue sur le port, et le glacier, super, je n'ai pas subi le bruit des bars...J'ai toujours des bouchons quand je voyage, cela diminue l'acoustique, dans l'ensemble cela s'est bien passé.La cuisine/salon toujours appréciable pour se préparer un truc.L'amabilité du personnel, assez attentif.La piscine en ville est carrément top, un certain nombre de hot tub !.
Par contre, les cloisons sont très minces, on entend les gens parler parfois, le lavabo couler.
Ce lieu ressemble plutôt a un hôtel anonyme, surement pas une guesthouse.Pas d'ascenseur, indiqué pourtant dans le descriptif.
Les supermarchés sont assez excentrés, ce qui est assez étonnant, sauf vinbudin !.

The room was comfortable and they had a common area/kitchen so you could go shopping and cook your own food instead of eating out every day
The stairs were a bit steep and for a person with asthma and back problems it was a bit difficult to get up them and you couldn’t get a less than 1L water bottle in the sink to refill

Our stopover at Akureyri. We Got a basic room that’s warm in the winter at least and it’s cleaned. Shared bathroom and shower are clean. Breakfast in the morning is lovely!
The lighting in the kitchen need to be brighter, it’s too dimmed. There’s fused light in our room.

Los situación del hotel, está muy céntrico con un aparcamiento cerca. Y la calefacción funcionaba bien, mucho calor. La "recepción" es el bar de a lado donde el camarero habla español así que para nosotros genial, además muy simpático. La habitación sin más, dos camas, una mesita, perchero, una silla y un mini lavabo.
Son ascensor, baños de hace mil años como el edificio y con las puertas de la mampara rota, una no tenía la puerta y la otra no cerraba, poco le quedaba para no tener puerta de mampara. La cocina descuidada y estaba claro que nadie la limpia más que los huéspedes, nos quedamos dos noches y siguió la misma bolsa de patatas abierta en el mismo sitio.

Nice location for walking around. Very small room, but it was fine for one night. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing our breakfast.
The room photos on booking don't show just how very tiny our room was. It was quite noisy until very late into the night (well after midnight).

The only thing I liked about it was 2 friendly girls who were working in the restorant next to the guesthouse.
The room we stayed had dirty floor. There was 2 bathrooms on our floor and both of them were, pardon my language, disgusting. I cannot believe this place has more or less good rate, because I simply couldnt believe this is in the center of Akureyri. The children seat in kitchen area had food stains, the fridge smelled like rotten eggs, there was millk from April (and we stayed in July) which probably means nobody even cleaned that place for months, it surely lookee like that. There was a towel on the floor.

Excellent location right in the centre of town and we managed to park close to the hotel each day. Breakfast was plentiful. Despite the shared showers we always managed to avoid having to wait in the morning. Staff were friendly.
The lounge on the top floor was spoiled by guests who hadn't cleaned up their dishes. The fridge had a fascinating array of cultures growing in it if you're a keen bacteriologist.

Well equipped kitchena cozy common area upstairs with big balcony. The hostel is located right on the main street of Akureyri.
A handle in one of our room was broken. A serviceman was supposed to fix it but he disappear as soon as he came to us.

Room was nice.
shower didn’t have much power and bathroom didn’t look so nice.
breakfast was supposed to be from 7-10. However couple of times. things weren’t ready by 8.
asked for new bedsheets. never got them
one night a group of kids were there unsupervised and one got locked out and no one to help since there isnt a recrption. The noise from them made a few guest unhappy

Good beds. Two pillows. The room didn't have a single lamp.
It was very cold in the room despite having the oven on the highest setting. We had a private bathroom, and it took a long time to get warm water .. and it didn't even get hot. Once it was warm enough to shower in the water pressure was awful.
