This was the perfect stop in Barrydale. The room was charming and well located on the main street. We were greated warmly on arrival and found the room to be excellently equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches. From fresh coffee in the morning to mosquito repellant and torches (for load shedding) - the owners had thought of every little detail. We would definitely stay here again!

The hosts Janine and Schalk were top drawer.... The two rooms were well equipped, tastefully furnished, and had Aircon

WiFi was sporadic, but that could have been because if loadshedding.

Janine and Schalk were lovely hosts! Clean, comfortable, and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc.. Fully equipped with everything you can think of and more! Quaint balcony, good braai facilities and beautifully decorated cottage! Great value for money too!

Nice clean place to stay if your going that way and nice couple who run it too.

Not much to do in the town and many places to eat finish about 5 and closed on Monday and Tuesday!!

One word WOW ! The first thing that stands out is the attention to detail, think of something you may need when away from home and it will be there, not only will it be there it will be stylish as well. The rooms are spacious, equipped with a extra large double bed, seating area, fridge, microwave , kettle , cutlery and a lot of special small things. The bathroom, is very spacious well appointed and again everything you need is on hand, from luxury soap to conditioner, high quality. Maybe the best part is the stoep , here you can sit and feast your eyes on the beautiful mountains or the beautiful garden that surrounds your room. Just off the stoep is your Braai, with wood and firefighters, a grid and everything you may need. It is the attention to detail that makes this the best accommodation option in Barrydale ! Compared to the Karoo Art Hotel, Over Karoo Inn is definitely the better option and comes at a much better rate. To round everything off , the hosts are wonderful , nothing asked is to big or to small.

Very neat. Central location. Beautiful garden. Great special touches. Treats. Good quality linen and towels. The list goes on.... I did not even have to wash my own dishes.

The unit came equipped with everything that one can think of. Bug repellents and spray, toiletries, coffee (milk, sugar, french press), salt and pepper, the appliances were excellent, aircon, fan, electric blanket, hair dryer. Bed was amazing, shower was great, and very peaceful. It's also beautifully decorated. A LOT of thought was put into the unit. I visited a few other options around, and this place is miles ahead. Definitely staying here again if I'm in the area.
