Goditi la bellezza degli Adirondack in questa casa di tronchi su misura costruita a mano sul bellissimo fiume Schroon nelle montagne Adirondack inferiori. Situato in una tranquilla zona residenziale a pochi minuti dal Lago George. Questa casa dispone di un ponte 14 'x 35' con vista sul fiume. Due box auto. Vista dell'acqua da ogni stanza della casa. Il seminterrato ha altre 2 camere da letto ciascuna con 1 letto matrimoniale e 1 letto singolo e un letto a castello, camera familiare, bar, bagno, air hockey e tavoli da foseball. TV via cavo in tutte le camere. Fuori dal seminterrato c'è una vasca idromassaggio per 8 persone (sotto il ponte) e una buca per il fuoco all'aperto che si affaccia sulla spiaggia. What a perfect place for our extended family of 9 adults and 7 children to spend a relaxing week of vacation! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood on the river, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of crowds but is just a short drive to everything Lake George has to offer.
The spacious home offered lots of room for the kids to play, including a huge back deck. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you could possibly want or need, even for a group our size. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, dining area and main living area each had lots of comfortable seating. The inground pool was definitely a favorite highlight, as was the hot tub, the fire pit, and the game room.
Our hosts were excellent communicators throughout the entire process, were attentive to any questions or needs we had during our stay, and truly went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, too!
All of the adults in our party were in agreement that we would book this home again in the future, without hesitation!

Very clean. Right on the river. Quiet. Pool and hot tub was enjoyed by all. We appreciated the house starter kit; toilet paper, dishwasher pods, hand soap, paper towels, s’mores kit, popcorn machine, etc. Took canoe out on the water. Minutes from Lake George which was a beautiful town to walk around; shop, eat, Steamboat ride, arcades, etc. House was an hour and 15 minutes from Lake Placid with lots of good scenery including the Olympic facilities and Whiteface Mountain. Owners were very responsive and great with communication. An awesome time on our family vacation!

As the title implies - best weekend ever!! Booked Niki’s place for my bachelorette and stayed with a large group of girls. I was already excited based on the pictures of the listing but when we arrived the home only exceeded all of our expectations. The home was just as pictured (if not better) and the view is absolutely STUNNING, pictures do not do it justice. The perfect property for a getaway/retreat without being too far from things. So tranquil and relaxing. Niki was absolutely wonderful to communicate with - helpful, pleasant, and quick to respond. Truly a 10/10 stay!

Good gathering areas for large family such outside deck, dining table and fire pit. Great to have kayaks and a canoe. Amazing place for large dogs!
Heating and cooling was a challenge. The basement is much too cold.

The house was perfect for the 9 of us, we did not want to leave Sunday! The kitchen had everything we needed. The space was very nice in a big party. You didn’t feel crowded. The pool was an awesome add on. Saturday afternoon the weather was a perfect temperature so we were able to take advantage!
The location is great. Not to close to Lake George but your not in a tourist town. Ubers are available to grab you if you want to go have some drink in town.
We have talked about coming back yearly but with all our families! Definitely would recommend

Stayed for our friends bachelorette. It was a beautiful home. Master bedroom bed was very load and uncomfortable but other rooms were comfy. The view was amazing. Overall would definitely stay again.

Eight members of our family- 5 adults/3 children- had an "Ultimate Adirondack Getaway" for the weekend of the eclipse. The kids especially were excited to be in a "Lincoln Log" house with every kid-pleasing amenity they could imagine, and plenty of space to spread out. The adults loved the peace and quiet, just listening to birds and watching the river from the deck. Oh, and the eclipse was pretty cool too.

First of all this place is even better than the pictures show. The house sits on a beautiful river and the house itself is just gorgeous! Also being from Florida the 17 plus inches of snow made for an amazing trip for us. It was a magical winter wonderland and we loved every second. Bill and Niki were amazing hosts and made it feel like home for us and our doggies. Love this place! We didnt want to leave! We will definitely be back.

Everything you could expect plus more !! The Host ( Niki ) was Prompt, Professional and Personal which was extremely refreshing. The home is beautiful could be considered Log Heaven 😍. The location is perfect !! Thank you Again Niki for an amazing experience.

Beautiful house! Large enough for our family to all have there own room and the four bathrooms made it easy to all get ready in the morning!! House was very well stocked. Would love to come back next year!

The property was fabulous. Extremely well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly want plus extra touches like popcorn and smores kit for the fire pit. Good location with plenty of restaurants and stores. Communication with hosts was also great.

I felt the house was not clean. The linens (quilts and blankets) had an oder.
If you are using a cleaning company you should fire them. Also the outdoor grill was dangerous when lighting it and it was dirty also. I would suggest adding more beach towels.
The closets had no hangers and filled with a variety of junk.
I would not recommend this house.

Nearby trails and hiking, close to Lake George and attractions.
Needs a few more forks and we cooked so much another dishwasher would be a plus
floors could use more insulation-some what noisy for sleep with kids and pets.

Wonderful deck on the river!! Stunning Views! House very spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable! Plenty of places to sit inside & out for 12-15 people. Plenty of parking. Extra refrigerator in garage FAB!! Ten minutes to Lake George. Restaurant in town…George/Henry’s was great! Would recommend better lighting in bedrooms as they were all a bit dark.

We loved this home! We were in town for a wedding and had an extended family of 16 staying in the home. Absolutely loved the view of the river and the kayaks and canoes were an absolute bonus, we used them several times a day, really big highlight in addition to the firepit and the hot tub. The kitchen was so well stocked to make anything you needed, nothing was missing. The three floor layout allowed for us all to spread out without being on top of each other. Check in and check out was simple and the hosts were very communicative. Plenty of driveway space for several cars. Also loved being a 12 minute drive from Lake George. There was simply nothing not to love...and the view, priceless! We highly recommend!!

We are a family group of women who gather each year and we all had a fabulous time at the property. The kitchen is very well appointed, one of the best we've seen. The view and outdoor areas are so wonderful. The beds were adequate and the community areas were so much fun: the pool, the hot tub, the deck, the fire pit. All great. Would recommend especially to larger groups.

Overall positive stay at the cabin. We had a large group and had plenty of space to be comfortable. It was really nice having access to the river and boats and kayaks. We also appreciated the large floor plan with plenty of space for our large group. As other reviews note the 3 different floors has vastly different temperatures but the owners do their best to control for this by adding space heaters. This property could use some TLC but the communication and responsiveness from the owner during our stay was appreciated

We had the absolute best weekend! The house was perfect. Plenty of space for our group of 11, with tons to do! We spent the day in Lake George (only 15 minute drive) and, while Lake George is also great, we kept saying how we wanted to go back to the house! Nikki and Bill were very thoughtful, providing toiletries, pool towels, and even coffee (both k cups and regular), and coffee filters and other necessities that usually aren’t included but often forgotten by us! There also is a grocery store close by for the forgotten items! They were also very communicative for any questions, got back to us right away!
We sent the listing to so many friends who saw our pictures because the house was absolutely beautiful.
We made great memories there and Would love to come back.

This home was perfect for our anniversary celebration with our family. The house was clean, fully equipped with all kitchen essentials. The location was ideal. We played in the pool and River and relaxed in the hot tub! We went white water rafting and bike rail ride and cruised on Lake George. We had enough towels for the 15 of us. We had a camp fire at night. We just loved this house!!! Thanks so very much!

The house was wonderful for our group of 10: ages 16 months to 68. Many thoughtful touches throughout - from fixin's for s'mores to bathroom amenities baskets. Ample pool towels, pool and hot tub very clean, lots of fun toys. Kitchen incredibly well stocked. River was higher than normal due to heavy rains with strong currents so kayak/canoe outings were limited but still plenty to do both at the house and in the area. Hiked Hackensack Mountain and went tubing (Tubby Tubes) on the Hudson which was very relaxing and fun. Short drive to Lake George to browse stores. Quick trip to grocery & liquor stores. If you need a quiet house, however, this isn't it. You can hear every footstep overhead from the basement and first floor bedrooms. Not a big deal if everyone is on close to the same schedule and it did not ruin our fun at all or keep the kids awake. Wifi great - our son had to work two days and had no problem. View from the deck and opportunity to eat out there is amazing. Highly recommend!!

Host was great in that she would answer any question with urgency. The house was beautiful with a lot of amenities. This was our 50th anniversary celebration with our kids and grandkids, etc. Turned out to be a great choice. Would repeat again in the future.

It was a great vacation, we had plenty of activities on site to keep the kids happy swimming,fishing and kayaking. The kids had board games when we had rain. We had plenty of room with 14. The house had everything we needed from dishes to spices. The hot tub was enjoyed by all family members. It's in a very quiet neighborhood, very peaceful and relaxing on the river, but also very close to all stores, including the outlets for a rainy day adventure.

The house was perfectly located with easy driving access to Lake George and surrounding attractions. Plus the watercraft for use on the Shroon river and the pool and hot tub were great hits as were the games in the basement. Well appointed kitchen had everything we needed. Back porch provided hours of birdwatching. Thanks for a wonderul family vacation.

The pictures are exactly what you see when you arrive! Kayaking down the river it’s the most impressive house on the river. The views are absolutely beautiful from every room. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. The pool was perfect. I can’t say enough, just beautiful!!

Great property. Def needs some TLC. The kitchen sink was difficult to get hot water, the French door handle off the kitchen needs to be replaced. The door hardly closed. The property was spacious, the pool and yard was perfect! The floors are very squeaky and the thermostat was bit strange. It was freezing in basement and warm upstairs. I would recommend that Nicole has the kitchen drawers thoroughly cleaned. I did some when I was there. Nikki was great to work with and her family next door were lovely! The house was perfect for our gathering!

This log home is beautifully decorated and spacious. Our family of 14 had plenty of room and everyone enjoyed all of the amenities (pool, hot tub, air hockey, fooseball, fire pit, etc). The owner, Nicole was very accommodating as we requested about a week before our vacation to bring 2 dogs which she said would be no problem. I also asked a few days before if the pool would be open and heated. It was not, but she said they would open it and have it heated. The rental was fully stocked with everything we needed. They even had canoes for us to use which we did not take advantage of. The balconies overlook the river and the view and the wildlife were amazing. The property is also close to a grocery store and a convenience store. I would recommend this home for anyone doing a family or friends vacation
