5 stars for location - which is really everything. But - the house wasn’t clean (floors were sandy when we got there). The windows on the oceanfront porch mostly had broken latches and we needed to squeeze together the metal hinges that remained. One window didn’t open. (No AC so know that as well). It had lots of charm but you can tell the owner doesn’t put ANY money into the property. The photos were misleading in that he shows two living areas - but he really just changed the position of the couch and arm chair and took off the couch seat covers to look like two areas. That was deceptive and unnecessary. Our family had a great time because we just chalked it up to part of our beach experience. It’s a shame the owner doesn’t keep up his property as it has an incredible location.

Great Central location. You can walk on the beach for miles in both directions. Very comfortable for 5 adults.

This home is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your vacation!! Going to bed listening to the waves crashing and waking up and just walking onto the beach was heaven!! It has plenty of space to hang out with everyone and also find a place to be by yourself.. the best of both worlds!!

Quaint, cozy cottage right on the beach! We loved listening to the ocean waves at night and watching the sunsets and sunrises right from the backyard! A must visit to this special gem!

It’s impossible to get any closer to the beach. You will fall asleep with the sound of the ocean and sitting on the front porch you will be able to watch the waves and the dune grass. It’s absolutely perfect. The house is a classic Maine beach house with updated bathrooms and kitchens. Host is very friendly and did a great job communicating with us.

We travelled with a set of grandparents, 5 adults, and two little kids. The rooms were ample enough for everyone. It was such a pleasure to step outside in the mornings for a walk on the beach alone or with a family member. The location is just superb! Some of our group even got up early to catch the sunrise some mornings. The kitchen was a great size and was well equipped! The kids enjoyed watching tv in the cozy living room. Overall, a great house. Thank you!

Steps to the beach! Even if it's not a great beach day, just sitting, reading a book has the best view!

This is the perfect house in the perfect location! We had a very comfortable stay, with spectacular views. It was very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, as well as the grill. The mattresses sagged a bit, but weren't too bad. Everything was as promised. Wonderful beach - highly recommend this place!
