Was not aware that there was another house on the property. the restroom has no vent. No privacy for a romantic getaway

We love the location of the cabin. Nice, woodsy property close to Gruene. Loved the hot tub and river views!

Not well outfitted for the cost/length of our stay. There was a very strong smell of maple syrup when we walked in? Very strange and we could not figure out what it could be from. Perhaps it’s the cleaner that was used in the house? Only 4 towels for a 4 night stay. We had to use the towels both for bathing and for the hot tub, for 4 people it would have been nice to have at least 2 towels each for the stay. Also, no coffee filters so we could not take advantage of the coffee that was provided. The bowls were not microwaveable so had to make the oatmeal we brought in a mug. The hand soap dispensers in bath and kitchen were almost empty, and there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 4 night stay. Only 1 extra blanket in closet. The chairs on deck were so old and worn we felt like they would break if we sat in them. Overall the place needs to be freshened up, felt old and musty and dated. The location is awesome and we loved the hot tub, but the cabin could really benefit from a facelift.
