Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Staff was friendly

Room was very noisy and hot. There was no fan or anything to drowned out the noise. I was told by the staff that they would try to bring a fan over, but it did not happen. Everything can be heard in those rooms from the front door shutting to the shared facilities being used. Whoever is staying in the upstairs dictates everyone below sleep. The upstairs ppl checked in very late slamming doors with 2 dogs and a screaming baby. I think they went to bed around 2am, which means everyone in the lower units were awake until then as well. The guests in the room beside me confirmed this in the morning

Nice location. Everything in Stewart is within easy walking distance. Very friendly and accommodating hosts - they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The offered covered parking for our motorcycles across the street at their own house. Cozy room and comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Good coffee.

The address was correct but when I asked for navigation I was sent to 5th Ave instead of 10th which is the correct one. The owner also runs a place on 5th - that is probably what caused the issue..?

Our host Martin cancelled our room before we got there so we did not actually see the bnb.

Host rebooked us at a different location, an old historical hotel downtown with a front door that did not close/lock. We opted to not stay there and booked our own back up accommodation. We were messaged a day ahead of our stay and told we could not be accommodated at the bnb we reserved. We were not rebooked at any similar accommodation, so chose not to stay anywhere with this particular host. He should have moved mountains to make our stay work, but instead left town for a vacation of his own and left someone else to deal with the cancellation mess. As a host, he definitely let the clients down.

Difficult to find; no one on site after initial meet; no TV; lousy wifi; had to pay for two rooms to get a private bathroom and didn't like having to cross a public hallway to access the bathroom.

Like most things in Stewart, the tourism industry has repurposed much of the local infrastructure, and the results are most interesting. Old buildings built of planks and poor fitting heavy timber, but then retro-fitted with modern appliances and fixtures. Makes for an unique atmosphere

Did not love the double bed. Queen bed would have been more comfortable to sleep in with my husband.

Three couples rented the ground floor which consisted of four bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. The rooms are identical and fine for two people each. The owner was cheerful and the place clean. There are chairs and a patio table for the garden/lawn area. Close enough to walk to town (10 minutes) or a 2-minute drive. The Wi-Fi is strong.

Our wives were disappointed that the rooms didn't have internal bathrooms. (This wasn't a big deal as we were with friends, but if traveling on your own you might be sharing with strangers.) I was annoyed that the "Quadruple room" wasn't one room, but two double rooms and a separate bathroom. Our friends ended up paying 50% more than we did for a double room and had an unnecessary spare room. These rooms would be more accurately described as "Next door double rooms ideal for a family with 1-2 children." (We turned the superfluous room into a common room/lounge for all six of us.) There's no cooking other than a toaster oven and microwave. The king suite upstairs is accessed through the same door and common hallway, so you'll meet your neighbors.

Cozy, comfortable cabin, with all the amenities…including pillow mints. Easy access, via a gravel driveway - no problem for a motorcycle.
