Great location, close to almost most of places to visit in San Juan. The property is clean and welcoming. The property manager and the owner were wonderull people made us feel at home.

Beautiful space, convenient location, great advice on other places to explore. Beds were comfortable. The beach was incredible—especially near sunset, all the locals come out to walk their dogs and socialize in the ocean. Just a special place!

We had a wonderful 5 day stay here. The location can't be beat - right by the beach, which is so handy to go back and forth as needed. There were quite a few wonderful restaurants within walking distance. We didn't rent a car, but were easily able to use Uber to get to the more distant attractions such as Old San Juan, El Morro and Casa Bacardi. I am glad we weren't driving because parking at the house would have been a little tight, which is not surprising in the city. The house itself was very comfortable, it was just right for 4 of us. It was nice to spend time in the small front courtyard in the mornings with coffee, and the rear courtyard had the small jetted pool which was such a fun place to hang out at the end of the day. Having a washer and dryer right there was very helpful too. Isobel was lovely as was Ana the caretaker. I highly recommend this lovely house and area!

The apartment is super close to the beach with it just being down an alleyway out the front gate. This was really nice with having a one year old who wasn’t always wanting to stay there that long. They had some beach chairs and toys to take over there too. The pool was heated which was nice when we wanted to hop in later at night. It is located with easy access to the main highway for traveling around the country. And the local streets around it seemed safe while we walked all over to explore the area. The downstairs has nice sitting areas for hanging out or eating. It was nice to have the kitchen to make a few meals there too, but Isabel and Ana have a list of some of the better places within a short 5 minute walk. Don’t miss the numero uno beach restaurant for a nice breakfast or lunch just down the beach from the apartment. There is a ton of great places to eat all types of food around this great location too. The bedroom, bathroom, and loft are all upstairs and have fans everywhere so you aren’t too hot while sleeping. They made sure we had a playpen for our little one to sleep in which was very helpful for us. We usually try to go to new locations when we travel, but would love to come back here again and stay at this beach getaway.

Ceiling dripped water by main entrance .Large propane tank in patio. Was said to be 12 steps to beach, but really about 60. Lighting was bad inside. Pool/ hot tub was nice. They said it was a 2 bath condo, but the only bath inside was very small, almost uncomfortable. The other so called bath was a shower head by the patio gate entrance. 2 1/2 stars

It's clear that the owners really care about their home and love to share it with others. Having a downstairs living area and upstairs bedrooms/bath was great, too; it really felt like we had plenty of room. We've stayed in a number of VRBOs, and some have kitchens that seem to assume that the renters don't cook. We do a fair amount of cooking while we travel, and this kitchen had LOTS of pots, pans, plates, utensils; basically, all you need! The only thing it didn't have was an oven, but the toaster oven was fine. Pool ... laundry area ... plenty of towels ... beach equipment ... a great TV (Netflix, etc. capabilities) ... basically, everything you need regardless of whether you're staying for a week or a month! Plus, whenever we had a question, it was answered right away. Also, there was a short power outage in the area one day, and the generator worked beautifully. Would HIGHLY recommend ... and we plan to return!

Isabel’s rental was perfect for our girl’s trip to San Juan. The space has a wonderful indoor/outdoor feel with all of the comforts of home - a fully stocked kitchen, cold AC, two TVs, and very comfortable beds and linens. She has also supplied everything you need for the beach which is about 15 steps from the front door! The location is within blocks of a number of amazing restaurants and bars. Isabel and Ana were so communicative and even quickly helped us when we locked ourselves out of the gate! We will definitely be back in the future.

Everything about our trip to Puerto Rico was absolutely perfect. This condo was perfectly located. Steps from the beach. We explored several different areas of the island and loved coming back to this place every evening. I hope to stay here next time as well. The 4 of us were quite comfortable. Thanks for everything!

Although we missed 2 days of our stay due to a flight cancellations and flt delays, we really enjoyed the short time we did have there. We arrived at 11pm and the kids jumped right in the private pool. The location is perfect. Just steps away from the beach. We were visiting from Hawaii so didn’t have too much beach time but I loved how close it was and how the townhome was equipped with boogie boards,beach chairs,beach towels and sunscreen. I enjoyed my coffee and quesitos at Kasalta’s bakery every morning and delicious authentic Puerto Rican food as the restaurants were just a quick 5 to 10 minute walk from the townhouse. We were grateful for the recommendations both Isabel and Ana shared with us. We had a couple of mishaps with the shower and TV connection, but Ana, our host, was quick in getting back to us and coming in to fix the issues we experienced. My son honestly didn't mind using the outdoor shower. It meant more time with Cookie the neighborhood mascot. Both my kids fell in love with the cat and helped care for him using food provided in the mailbox. Yes well equipped with even cat food! I personally loved the art decor and the beachy feel and the red streets lights to protect the baby turtles. I never felt unsafe having around the clock security. We really look forward to returning and I have recommended this place to several of my friends and family. A hui hou!

I am an International luxury hotel professional and was on vacation with my 2 nephews. Although we were extremely disappointed with the rental, and had to find an alternate rental the next day, I was able to communicate with the owner directly to address our issues. Therefore, and as a business professional, I find no need to further address the issues in this review with one very particular exception! and that is, prior to our direct communication with the owner, who was very professional, we had the the very unpleasant experience of communication with the property keeper or manager "Ana" who indeed needs to take a deep breath and brush up on her hospitality customer service skills! She made me feel as though I have no right at all to complaint and had a "take or leave it" negative attitude. Not good for business. She needs to understand that not everyone has the same expectations and respect that! Thank you

The place was spotless and smelled great. The area felt very safe, and it was 50 yds to a gorgeous beach. We walked to some of the best food I've had in ages. We parked the rental out front on the street and had no problems. The unit has a gated front patio area with seating and a beach shower. Available for use were a number of beach chairs and a cooler. Inside, the kitchen was more than adequate--microwave, toaster oven (was immediately replaced once we determined the older one would not function in bake mode), toaster, two-burner electric stove, sink, refrigerator/ freezer, and all the pots, pans, plates, bowls, and utensils we'd ever need. Little things were so helpful--a stockpile of insect repellent and sunscreen, beach towels, extra blankets, some card games, and travel books on the area. The two minisplit AC units more than adequately cool the space. We enjoyed the Apple TV and the kids especially got a lot of use out of the private pool in the back. There is a twin+trundle upstairs in the loft area, and the bedroom with a full-size was cool (and quiet) with the door closed. There is a comfortable front balcony on the second story. The couch downstairs could have easily slept another couple of bodies. Closet space, hangers, and iron were appreciated. And oh, lest I forget, we did several loads of laundry with the washer/dryer stack out back. The owner's local management team was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We had an amazing trip and staying at Parque was a big part of it.

We really enjoyed our stay! Ana was very helpful for anything we needed, parking, restaurants, she even assisted me in getting to an ER for a quick visit when my son slipped on rocks on an excursion and needed stitches (very fast / clean and efficient ER visit!) The apartment was wonderful! The plunge pool was a highlight and we enjoyed it every day. The walk to the beach is short, and we took advantage of the beach chairs and beach towels. Having a washer and dryer on site was great! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, I will recommend that you look around first before you go to the grocery, there were no less than 3 bags of sugar there already which I found after I bought one more! :-) Poke around in the cupboards as we also bought tin foil and some other things that I found were there already when I looked more carefully. I liked that the street is a cul-de-sac of sorts, so quiet, not a lot of extra traffic which is nice. We would stay there again and have recommended it to our friends!

This place was fantastic, my daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful time. There were some issues with the power (completely out of the owner's control) and Ana was very communicative letting us know what was happening. I can not say enough how wonderful everything was. My biggest complaint is we couldn't stay longer!!

We stayed for a week. The host made check in super easy for us. The place was very clean. The pool could have used a vaccuum but for what we were there for we were happy with the privacy of pool and a few leaves. The beds were actually super comfy compared with hotel beds which made sleeping much better. The place was so cold when we arrived but it was hot and it felt good. The remotes for the a/c made it easy to adjust the temp. Everything food is within walking distance about 1 mile Uber, don’t rent a car. We spent less than $400 on Uber and We went places. Of course there are many food places, but the host provided a list of good eats and it was good eats. The beach is right around the corner down a little ally way. What was surprising was the security guards. They were watching the big Beach front properties across the street. Didn’t think it was an unsafe area but their presence was welcomed. They were kind and polite. The beach was nice and private. But if your looking for a calm beach the Atlantic doesn’t offer that where we were. The rip tide was crazy. But the water was beautiful and warm. We didn’t go in past our waist so the rip tide was not problem for us. The beach was very clean and the sand felt great. There are calmer beaches around which was a 5 min Uber ride. It made for a great beach day. My only complaint, was the internet in the house. The Apple TV was a nice welcome but if u wanted that to work u needed to unplug the router and directly plug it into the Apple TV. Once I figured that out the Apple TV was a great way to relax after a day of fun. I wasn’t there to surf the web and my phone got decent service but, the Wi-Fi is spotty at best. So ur there to surf the web not the best place. Maybe update the router for better connections. If your there to relax and enjoy the island. 5 star place. The host were amazing answering all our emails and texts. Would recommend this place again

My three girlfriends and I meet once a year for a week long girls trip. This apartment was affordable, clean and very cute. We loved having the beach and so many restaurants so close to us. Ana was very easy to communicate with and she responded to all questions quickly. Isabel sent us so many suggestions and ideas for things to do and see....her information was invaluable! Thank you so much!

Place is close to the beach, but you have to cross the street and walk down an alley. We had a good time. We rented a car and didn't stay in San Juan much. There are a ton of great restaurant within walking distance. The area looks like a rough area of town, but I didn't feel unsafe walking around in the daytime. The apartment is stocked with all the essentials. The beach towels, chairs and toys were great! The pool was awesome! Kids loved taking nightly swims. I only wished those hammock chairs were still there. I was looking forward to using them as a reading spot.

My husband and I arrived in PR and was able to go right to the property and get in. 10 minute drive from airport!!! We always walk to the beach and from this house it is literally right out the door and within a few steps you were at a wonderful beach. My children 15 and 12 loved this. No view of ocean but so close you can visit literally anytime . The house itself was stunning and the decor was right on point. Great air conditioning my husband kept turning it off on me. The breeze around is amazing. One shower, one bathroom took a little getting use to for my family but we made it work with no problem and all the stone work and accents were on point and beautiful !!! Ok the pool!!! When we first saw, as pictured and said, it is a small pool...BUT it was so deep it was a great place to unwind. I drank my mornjng coffee in the pool every morning ... it was so private, and heated, and beautifully lit at nigh!! Amazing!!! It was so much more than first impression!!! The kids love getting out of the sun after the beach to cool off and listen to music! Very safe feel! We had a gate that was locked at all times, another gate that had to be unlocked to get into our key code door access. A security guard is outside of the apartment the entire time 24 hours a day! Great people and enjoyed talking with them!!! An amazing vacation. The owners were easy to get a hold of and have contacts that help you the entire trip. We accidentally ran into them outside the home one night and had a great chat!!! Wonderful people!!!! We talked to one person and booked our entire week worth of trips. We couldn't pay in credit card as we brought a lot of cash but this problem was easily worked out with no problem!!!! We were picked up from the house and brought back to the house with someone always waiting for us. They were so fun and great learning experience for the kids. I highly recommend this house and location! Perfect for our family of 4 in a place we had never been! We home to be able to come back soon!!!! Love always, Aimee and family!!

Really liked this place and the location. Communication with owner/manager was good. Only issue was with the pool which is listed as a hot tub and the pump was not working therefore it could not be heated.

Place was beautiful and clean. If you have a rental request parking space.

We really enjoyed our stay at Isabel’s Arena townhome. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach. The townhome is very cozy and filled with light! It was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. The property manager, Ana is super nice and communication was always very prompt. We hope to stay again soon!!!

When an opportunity to come back to the island after eight years living abroad, we wanted to make sure we found a place that would allow us to enjoy what we loved and missed so much about PR/San Juan. In Arena we found exactly what we were looking for!! In no particular order: 1.) Location - one of the best beaches in San Juan is steps to the north. Condado's nicest area is walking-distance to the west. Loiza street (local restaurants, shops, etc.) a street block to the south. Ocean Park (more restaurants, beaches, etc.) to the east. 2.) Arena - Unique Mediterranean style villa/townhome. Excellent layout, private pool, décor to match the style and other distinct features make Arena clearly standout over other properties in the area. 3.) Owner/management - very professional and accommodating. Always available and easy to work with. In short, lovely villa, excellent location and great owner/management. Certainly highly recommend. Take it from a local.....

My family of four just stayed in this beautiful home. It was perfect. Super close to the beach and very cute. The pool was a family favorite. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Puerto Rico.

Loved the little pool. Steps from the sand! Comfortable bed, warm shower, close to restaurants and grocery shopping. We enjoyed getting to know the area. The parking spot was too small but we were able to park up the street a bit.

A work colleague and I shared this apartment for a recent work trip. It was very centrally located for everything we needed with a variety of good restaurants within walking distance. Dealing with the owners and managers was very easy, everything went smoothly. The apartment was as billed in the advertisement however it was not a true 2 bedroom. Perhaps that was my fault for not reading closely enough. This is a one bedrooms an the other bed is in a loft area. This wasnt an issue for us but it was a surprise when we arrived. The pool is small but its nice for a soak and a drink. There is a very short walk to the beach. The location is in a safe area of San Juan and our car looks like it was under guard at all times.

Although the hurricane had destroyed a lot of Puerto Rico , this property is a rare find that is still in top shape. I felt at home here and any questions or issues were handled the same day. Isabel is awesome and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home away from home. I will definitely be back at this property everytiine i visit Puerto Rico! I wish they had more stars that I can give this property!

Fabulous location! Just steps from a beautiful beach, around the corner from good food of all types and terrific coffee and pastries! Can't say enough nice things about Anna and Isabel! Anna - the contact person in San Juan was super responsive to every need! Isabel - the owner - responses right away too! Love the basket of left behind bug spays and sun lotions (the kind of stuff you can't take home in your carry on luggage)! Fabulous dunk pool in the back garden! It's time for a review of the place in general though - dated/worn decor and aging supplies like towels and dishes. Over all, we'd go again!
