NINE was a wonderful weekend away for our family. Despite being in the winter, the home is warm, and full of charm. We immensely enjoyed the SUPs, tinny, hot tub and wonderful recommendations of host, Elly. She went above and beyond to accommodate our family, and we are most grateful for her communication and thoughtfulness. We’ll hope to return in the future! Thank you!

This break was a great opportunity to unwind and relax as a family. We spent most of our time on the top deck admiring the view. Our teenagers enjoyed fishing, kayaking and the enormous milkshakes from water vista cafe. We hired a bbq boat from the marina during our stay and cruised up river, I would recommend doing that if you have more than 4 people staying. The spa was a great way to end each day!

Our group had a lovely relaxing weekend at Berowra Waters. We enjoyed the kayaks, standup paddle boards and fishing. The property was spacious, clean and comfortable and the view was magical. We can’t wait to have another visit!

Beautiful house and river setting. Fun and unique to arrive by boat. Rented a bbq boat from the marina for a day exploring the river. Highly recommend this property for a family getaway.

The house is beautifully located on the river with an amazing view. The house is very nicely renovated with a spacious kitchen and an amazing deck... Downstairs is a perfect teenage retreat and as we had 4 kids (aged 10, 12, 14 & 17) all of them had a wonderful time. Having use of the fishing and water toys was great, although we found a hole in one of the kayaks. Overall, it's a perfect weekend getaway for a medium to large sized family.
Elizabeth was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Elly is a wonderful host. The house was immaculate upon arrival and everything is in place for your stay. It’s exactly as you see it in the photos. It’s a big spacious house and the views are gorgeous. The boat service provided by Col is timed to perfection. All I would say is a weekend here is not enough here!

Location, Location, Location!
Nine at Berowra Waters is a literal GET AWAY being accessible only by boat and absolute water frontage, you feel yourself slipping away from your everyday life from the moment you are greeted at the pontoon to be transported across the river.
The accommodation itself is spacious with two living areas both extended with large comfortably furnished balconies boasting stunning unobstructed water views.
There are four bedrooms, two with ensuites plus an additional bathroom.
The heated outdoor spa, the wood burning fire, the sunny balconies along with the use of a small motorboat and fishing gear make this property an excellent choice for a winter escape.
We found Nine at Berowra Waters to be immaculately clean, and thoughtfully appointed. The decor is eclectic but comfortable and all of our guests enjoyed peaceful nights sleeping.
Elly is a courteous, considerate and communicative host genuinely invested in ensuring your time at this charming property exceeds your expectations.

Everything worked like a dream from our initial booking to information on arrival and being greeted by the delightful Col. And assistance to check out at the end of our stay.
As soon as we arrived, we started relaxing in this truly beautiful location. The scenery is spectacular. We were lucky to have an extended stay (7 days) which we filled with fishing from the pontoon very successfully, kayaking and visiting nearby locations, games, reading, yoga and meditation.
We were supplied with a boat which was easy to operate and Col was wonderful to send us helpful bits of information throughout about weather and tips.

Gorgeous big house on the beautiful Hawkesbury river. Communication with Elly was great and collection from the wharf was all as planned so the weekend was lovely. The house is really well stocked whether its access to kayaks or kitchen equipment. My only criticism is that it doesn't seem the cleaners have not been doing their job - I wont go into details here - instead take up with the owner directly so she is aware and can address.

Great house with everything you need inside and everything you need outside to enjoy the location right on the water. So exciting arriving by boat and being able to explore the river in the boat provided or kayaks. Kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Deck is huge and so relaxing to sit on the lounge. Will be back.

A beautiful spot on the water to relax and unwind and escape from city life. The house is very comfortable with everything you need, the location is sublime and peaceful. We’ve been back three times!

Spectacular views. Waterfront with private jetty gave us time for Fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and so much more activities on the property. Family age range from 21 to 78 all had a fantastic time. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Bewowra Waters such a unique and beautiful place to stay. Elly's communication excellent. The house had everything that you need and more. Such a great place to stay. Colin was great. Only issue we had was our pick up from bewowra waters inn, confusion on where we were. They didn't know where NINE was, kept going to No. 9. Would suggest to book under the house No. Very minor issue. We actually think it's one of the most stunning areas we've ever been to. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We had a fantastic weekend away with the family! The location was excellent as it is easily accessible from Sydney. There is lots to do in the area and the house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on the decks and also using the jacuzzi and the kayaks. Elly was a fabulous host and was really easy to communicate with!

Ladies weekend
A wonderful way to spend a few days. Very relaxing right on the rivers edge. So peaceful. High tea delivered by boat from Sydney High Tea is a absolute high light. Only negative would be no fly screens on bathroom windows and the lovres don’t seal so you are sharing with creepy crawlies. Otherwise just perfect and we’ll provided for.

Lovely restful property on the Hawkesbury
My family spent a lovely 5 days staying at Nine. The place is very comfortable and we spent lots of time relaxing on the balconies and swimming, fishing, boating and kayaking. Communication with the owner and manager was easy and helpful (dealing with a local power cut one day). We’d love to come back, it’s a great place

Amazing!
Thank you so much Elly for sharing your beautiful home with us. My family had the most amazing time there - the house was even more spectacular than the photos! I spent a lot of time soaking up the views from the incredibly comfy sofa on the top balcony. We spent hours fishing, kayaking, jumping off the pontoon and then came back to stunning bathrooms, the biggest kitchen I have ever used and such comfy beds! Elly and Col couldn’t have been more helpful. We can’t wait to go back.

We had an amazing time, very organised and attentive property managers. The place had everything you could wish for. So secluded but close to Sydney. It was fantastic.

Special, Fun River Escape
My husband & I celebrated our thirtieth wedding anniversary with our adult children at ‘Nine’ with dinner on the house verandah overlooking the River, followed by a sunny breakfast, canoeing and pottering around in the motorised tinny. It’s only 15 doors down along the river from the famous Berowra Waters Inn so their boat came to collect us from our pier. We all enjoyed a drink at the new Angophora Bar before our intimate degustation lunch as a couple. The young adults enjoyed the hot tub and fishing. Col, the urbane, calm and capable boatsman who checked us in had given us all the instruction necessary to navigate the plentiful entertainment options that are available at the house. He was courteous and caring, quick to respond to a text and on time to transport us back to the marina. Elly the owner was accommodating and friendly in all correspondence. The house was just what we were looking for to punctuate a special landmark occasion and also involve the kids.
