It was set where you can see kilimanjaro and easy access to various restaurants using tok tok

No soap or toilet paper so had to buy my own

Everything was just perfect! This is a highly recommended place to stay at while being in Arusha!

The property and room were really cute and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast was amazing! I had lots of dirty laundry after summiting Mount Kilimanjaro. The ladies at Savannah House took it and washed it all by hand for me! They even cleaned my hiking boots, which I was very thankful for :) The property offers pizza delivery and has a small fridge stocked up with water and beers. That pizza delivery is the best thing in the world when you arrive late or are tired and do not fancy going out for dinner anymore! Plus, they were delicious.

The only negative point was the lack of good lighting in the bathroom. It was difficult to see yourself in the mirror but other than that, there is not much more to say :)

First of all I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff and the lovely owners, really felt like a home, eternally grateful for their kindness and generosity. We loved the decor and layout, really well designed. The rooms were spacious, again thoughtfully designed. Our driver Anthony …for the waterfall and lagoon tour, was amazing ! every part of stay was awesome !

Excellent private room at an unbeatable price. Really friendly staff and a great breakfast included, plus good communication before our stay. Loved the outdoor area too, and we befriended the cat. Just very homely!

Slightly far out of town, too far to walk. Can't fault it on anything else though so well worth the trek.

Quite far from the centre of Arusha, on a very narrow unpaved street in a bit of anweird neighbourhood, quite hard to find for drivers.

We were returning from our safari, the staff was super helpful in arranging our departure the next day. Amazing rich breakfast, comfortable beds, and they even managed to have hot water when the owner was out.

this is a small guesthouse run by a local family with great care and attention. it’s super clean, very nicely decorated and full of plants! the breakfast was amazing and rich, and Rosie was super helpful with every request

Such a lovely house! Pretty rooms, good food and AMAZING STAFFS! Specially thanks to Anthony who is the founder of the house, is very nice and supportive person. They do safari tour as well and it was my best safari tour ever! Jonas was my guide and i love him!

Everything is amazing!

The staff was very welcoming and did help us for any request we had. The room was comfy. This is a great hotel for its value, but don't expect luxury. It's great for low budget, taxi are cheap to go to the city center and the patio is cute.

Beautiful lovely and cozy rooms, wonderful breakfast, very nice and helpful staff. The communication was nice and easy. The host was very helpful with giving us recommendations and good tour deals. We decided spontaneously to book a safari and it was no problem to change the dates of the nights we booked. Very welcoming, friendly atmosphere. It was the perfect start for our journey in TZ! The location is a bit outside of Arusha City Center but we liked it that the area was less busy and crowded. We really hope to get back some day - thank you, Savannah House!

Weird shower

The staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The room was big and very clean.

As most places in Tanzania, the shower wasn’t that good.

Everything :) mainly Anthony the owner of the place and the other staff are super nice and helping. We had some issues when we landed (that big bags didn't arrive, lost cell phone) and Anthony was very helpful. The breakfast is very big, the location was good for us, close to the city center-10 min with bus. The place is very quiet, welcoming, amazing vibes!

I absolutely loved the house, so comfortable and clean. The private bathroom was clean and had a lovely hot shower. Anthony and staff were so helpful and friendly and really helped us with local information and well as organising taxis and showing us which restaurants to go to. The breakfast was delicious too. The value for money was excellent and I wished I could stay longer!

Nothing - I loved staying here

Absolutely loved my stay here. Anthony the owner went above and beyond, he even got up at 5am on the day I left to take me to the bus and ensure I got the correct one. The hostel is beautiful with love decor, comfy beds and a great outside area, and the breakfast was huge! If I am ever in Arusha again I will be sure to come back here.
