Nicole made us felt like home. Always answered to all my questions and gave extra information. Breakfast was superb and the bed - haven’t slept so well for a while :) BB is easy to access by train - it is located basically next to the train station but still far enough you don’t hear anything. This town is very beautiful, streets are clean and the homes/houses were so beautiful. All of this is surrounded by flower fields. Unbelievable :) Also very close to Keukenhof Garden (5 km) we were walking there and back. Good exercise. For us it was perfect retreat - far away from everything (everyday’s life), yet close to everything you need (shopping street, cafés, restaurants, churches, parks, different shops) and the same time countryside feeling, birds are singing, tractors are working,dogs are barking and the beauty of tulip fields as far as you can see... So authentic experience.

Can’t say anything - maybe the stairs are not for everyone- elderly people or some health issues ... for us it wasn’t a problem. But I am sure it has written in description already.

It was really amaising experience due to wonderful host Nicole. Nicole desighned this fasility so fine and she cares about guests so good and warmly that you get feeling of home here. We came like guests and left like friends.

We liked everything. But it important to know that the property on the second floor with stairs (if someone has problems...)

Lovely accommodation overlooking bulb fields. The host was exceptionally helpful. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. Parking was no problem.

Breakfast was excellent: a lot of fresh fruit , everything fresh, we could ask what we wanted for breakfast. Nicole is very friendly, helpful, she gave us a lot of tips for sightseeing, for restaurants. We had nice conversations! Very comfortable bed with nice view from the room. Very close to the trainstation 10 min max and 15 minutes walk to the city center with a lot of options to eat there

we had a great stay at Nicoles house. She is a very nice host and had always tips for us. The room is pretty nice and very quiet. The home is located between the sea and amsterdam, so you can make trips easy by train. We arrived with our van and parking was no problem next to the street (there were always free parking spaces). We would highly recommend to visit Nicoles home :)

The room is in a private house, good to reach by car, near a railway station and Nicole offers a very warm welcome. One feels like home from the first moment on. Nighborhood is quiet and parking is no problem. The room is very pretty furnished and comfortable. Nicole helps with great tips wherever and for whatever one is in need of. Thank you, Nicole, for this wonderful time in your house, we enjoyed it very much. Accommodation highly recommended!

Nicole is a great host, very kind and attentive - she is very welcoming, but not intrusive, and you are in your own room at the top of the house. Having travelled herself, Nicole really understands what you need as a visitor. The room is clean, cosy, with en-suite shower, WiFi and TV, and the fridge makes it practical to keep supplies handy (and Nicole kindly provided milk and water on arrival). The coffee maker is excellent, deep roast and decaf coffee bags provided, and we really appreciated using it. Just be aware that the two flights of stairs up to the room are quite steep (we managed fine). The location is perfect, quieter away from the bustle of Amsterdam. But the proximity to the train station makes it easy to access Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden, etc. Nicole also rented us one of her bikes, which worked well for us, and we rented a second one from the local hotel (Hotel Flora). The location is perfect for cycling on the cycle networks (fietsroute) that the Dutch do so well (see route.nl). We even took the bikes on the train (about 6 Euros per bike) to venture further afield. There are some good places to eat in Hillegom, and don’t miss the local cheese shop/deli (BKO).
