I really enjoyed my stay and will head back to Casa Elizabeth when i next go to Xela.

Fabulous location, friendly and accommodating staff. The free breakfast was good-sized and excellent quality. Super clean throughout. Super value for price paid!

Breakfast was very good.

We stayed in an apartment a block aay from the main building. Had more room. My kids liked it because they had their own room.

You could only choose 3 things for breakfast. There wasn't always someone present to open the entrance door.

Cool and quaint

Very charming, vintage lodging in a great location. Very kind staff. Great breakfast. Comfy beds. Very nice sun room with comfy chairs. Friendly and helpful staff. I really enjoyed the antique furniture and decorations.

Parking situation is a bit complicated, as they use off-site parking that's usually unstaffed, so you have to get someone from hotel to walk up and open it. But, really not a big deal, especially if you don't have a car.

We would stay there again.

Casa Elizabeth in Quetzaltenango. Perfectly located, comfy clean and secure. The staff are so helpful and the included breakfast options are delicious- try the pancakes you won’t be sorry. There is no heat but it warms right up during the day- ask for an extra blanket!

that it was centric

the staff didn’t provide breakfast even if it was included. they took a long time approximately 50 mins to give us a slice of sandwich with nothing on it. We never received breakfast

Location very easy to get to. Staff was super friendly, hospitable and helpful. Nice breakfast. Great value for money.

As stated the rooms are not soundproof.

Mediocre hotel at a great location

Very friendly staff who were always willing to help. The location of the hotel is excellent, within a few blocks of the Central Park.

The hotel is quite run down and definitely doesn’t look like it doesn’t on the pictures. We stayed in the rooms downstairs and had quiet a lot of noise disturbance. Guests don’t get a key of the hotel so they have to ring the bell. Sometimes the staff leaves so the visitors keep ringing the bell until one of the other guests opens the door. A loud compressor that facilitates “hot water” is switched on every now and then which is also extremely loud. Not recommended for light sleepers.

An excellent Casa. Highly recommended.

A very good stay. Casa Elizabeth is comfortable, peaceful and very well-managed. The staff are really great and were very helpful in all matters. The breakfast is excellent and kitchen facilities are available. Great location on a quieter street near the Paque Centro.

Nice space and good value for money in terms of that. Friendly staff

I stayed in a double room next to the street and although the bars are not too near, you can hear them very well on Friday and Saturday.

Casa Tao was an incredible stay in Puerto Escondido. People there were really helpful. I forgot there some stuff and they manage a way to send it back to me in San Cristóbal before I crossed the border to Guatemala. Huge thanks to you all.

Great place tucked away off the main square.

Great location and super friendly staff. The breakfast was also delicious.

The walls in the upper areas are very thin.

Could stay again, nothing special, nothing bad.

Were able to check in early. Good central location. Spacious room.

All the things that come with an old building, very loud creaky floorboards for example, but I think the whole town is the same.

parking a few blocks away and need to get somebody at hotel to open for you after 19:00 hrs and Sunday. I was not informed I should leave my key in the morning to get the room cleaned, so I returned in the evening to an unmade bed and garbage in the bins

Exceptional

Great comfy rooms. Showers were great. There's a nice and well equipped kitchen, and they offer a great included breakfast! The hotel also offers a great and fast in-house laundry service.

what a charming hotel! can’t beat the location and value. excellent breakfast. lovely staff. 100% recommend! I will stay here again.

my room didn’t have hot water so I showered in another room (I’m sure this was a temporary problem)

It was ok but I'd probably not stay again

The room and hotel were nice enough. The breakfast was good.

The walls are paper thin so you heard EVERYTHING from the people next to you. The beds were really uncomfortable. At 3 am some lunatic was ringing the doorbell and banging on the door for almost an hour. Finally the police came and took him away but I couldn't sleep after that :/

Great breakfast service, you can order it for a specific time, so it be ready for you :) Personnel was also very friendly and helpful.

We were able to leave some luggage during a two day hike. Nice Patio, large room.

Very simple but okay considering the price. Not flexible on breakfast times which is actually important for many travellers passing Quetzaltenango

Pretty little hotel in a great location.

Casa Elizabeth is tucked away on a quiet street just a few blocks from the Parque Central - can't say enough about how great the location was. It is not a through street, so you don't get a lot of traffic noise. Everything is tastefully decorated, and the wifi was pretty strong in our room. Breakfast was good, and the staff were really nice and helpful.

We had a two-story room, and the ladder could be a bit tricky! Also, the walls were a bit thin and we could sometimes hear our neighbors' conversations. They also had some of those magical Guatemalan sheets that don't seem to stay on the bed.
